ectogemia
I don't consider there to be a "top / middle / bottom man". You need to check your facts. Top Man was in Mega Man 2. And studies show 50% of all men in homosexual relationships are Bottom Men.
Garpocalypse
You need to check your facts. Been watching some Fox News have we? To be honest,be careful about using overused expressions. That being said, it is what it is. Isn't it?

I hear Middle Man is likely to overcharge you for his services that you could easily perform yourself; it might be better to Cut Man him out
Jamphibious
Subbed! Used mostly Sunstar with a hint of Mercury. It was a tough choice but ultimately I think it worked out. Can't wait to hear what errybody else has cooked up.
KingTiger
EXCAYOOOOSE ME I'm relatively offendeeeeed by this. OCR is so prejoodice against Solar Man. Time to insult a mod. oh yeah that always does the trick. People get free vacations for that BTW I'm subbing mine now - I don't think I'll have time to implement any further tweaks, but if I do I can just send you the updated version right Darke? MindWanderer
Flush the Sky - Feels like it lacks direction and an overall mood, but the orchestration sounds very natural. Obviously laid some good elements down and I'm guessing with more time, your inspiration would have caught up to you.Hm, it's unfortunate that it came across that way. The structure is pretty common in movie soundtracks; I used "Aggressive Expansion" from The Dark Knight as my most direct influence, which shares the same rhythm of powerful opening and closing bracketing a soft, almost ambient middle. KingTiger
Alright, while we're waiting for the Round 4 mixes to be posted (not counting those already on SoundCloud), I'll go ahead and post some reviews of the Round 3 tracks! \^.^/ Ok, so with these kinds of things I always try to , so I'm going to be very intentional and point out the good things about each mix before saying anything (constructively) critical.Zerothemaster - Why Are the Bees Disappearing: Like your beat and your synth choices. Snare's too loud x.x and a lot of stuff feels a bit underproduced, like it could use some verb. It felt like there was some issues with some notes being within the key. Also it's too short, I want moar! MindWanderer - Flush the Sky: This is great, your production has stepped wwaaaaaay up since the B4C2! Your patch choices are great, and I actually really like your arrangement - I got the "movie score" feel right away Only thing I suppose would be that your sequencing could use either A) some better orchestral samples some better sequencing (like some humanization, specific note velocity editing and attacks and blah - remember, this is orchestral stuff and that usually requires some pretty excruciating attention to stupid little minute details) or C) both. SchrackAttack - Blood of the Concrete Moon: This is FANTASTIC! Great sequencing and production all around. Your orchestral stuff is wonderful, with all the synth stuff and percussion and what not; it sounds like an exciting movie score! The arrangements are good too! Your piano part in the middle is wonderful as well - very emotive and well played/sequenced. My only concern is that it feels like three separate movements, as opposed to one coherent "song" - but if that's what you want, then you nailed it! Xarnax42 - This Place Blows: Naaahhhhhiiiiice. Your rhythms aren't always as tight as I think they could/should be, but a really, really great effort, especially since all your vocals actually sound really good. Brandon Strader - Going Commando: YEEAAAAAHHHH (imagine that sung in a growly hair metal falsetto - and yes I know this isn't a hair metal mix really but the vocals remind me a bit of that in the beginning) SO alright the vocals are f***ing fantastic and the production is great, the guitar-ing (both the crunchy bits and the clean parts) sounds awesome with great musicianship and this track is just a hell of a lot of fun. The arrangement is great too and works really well with the sources; I really like how the song modulates between minor and major keys, like in that awesome bridge. Only gripes: that weird glockenspiel thing near the beginning and in the bridge seems out of place; the lyrics in spots seem a bit... off, or something and a bit too "specific" with its innuendo (I like my double entendres more subtle, but that's just me); that whole vocal volume thing that others have already mentioned; and finally the transition out of the bridge, and the songs' actual ending, seem too abrupt to me. Jakesnke17 - Stone Cold Rock: Ahhhh, Jake-san, mr DjjD, good to hear your music in my speakers! Your production is pretty damn good clean as usual, your beats hit hard, and your bass synths are deep and hard hitting. Love all of your synth/pad/whatever choices (especially that arpeggio thing at 1:40) *except* the first lead synth that comes in at the beginning of the song; it seems a bit generic to me. ladyWildfire - Lunar Storm: Great dancey-trancey stuff as usual, Beth! I wasn't sure at first but this one really grew on me; it feels a lot like a demoscene track, which is a very very good thing. Deceptively subtle modulation and changes all over the place. Awesome! My only nitpick is that a few things have some piercing frequencies going on (mostly your lead instruments) that I would've liked to have EQ'd out or something. Cosmic Sounds - Moon Walk: Same epic, sweeping, semi-orchestral arrangements I've come to expect from you (awesome), but now with some super fantastic production! Everything is clearer and louder and brighter than your past stuff, and I can actually discern all the great parts of your mix! Your patch choices and sequencing are pretty spot-on; my only complaint is that all your tracks sound very very similar and I wish you would branch out just a *teeny* bit. shadow24 - Celestial Shimmer: Hm, some cool synths and patch choices in here. But, the whole thing feels a bit unfocused, and that harpsichord thing actually seems kind of all over the place and distracting from the focus of the song. The track as whole could also be mixed better, mainly in terms of balancing the levels of the various instruments. Gario - Precious Moonrock: Great, well-produced, well arranged, semi-lofi stuff that I've come to expect from you man, this is really great and your arrangement is very moving! Love that violin, as always DrumJ8 - Ganymede Cactus: Love the feel you've got going on, the glitchy stuff on your lead synth is pretty cool too. Your drum sequencing has some really cool rhythms, and I especially love the pushed sections like at 0:45. I feel like your main lead is too loud in the mix and all your patches are kinda generic though. Also your instrumentation didn't change too much throughout the course of the song to keep my interest. Theory of N - Lunar Aqueduct: Love the 12/8 rhythm going on here, and your fm modulated synths are great! LOVE IT. A really well arranged and produced 9-bit track, great work Andy Tunstall - Ducksicles in Space: Great vibe, love the guitar a hell of a lot. Great sequencing too, I can hear all the attention to detail you put into this. I personally feel (and I could be completely off on this because I know you're very good at what you do) that some of your patch choices are a bit generic - mainly some of the drums - but I know that also may be part of the feel you're going for. Tuberz McGee - The Moon is Dumb: CALLUM!!! Yeah boi, love teh guitarz, very well played as usual. This seems a bit more metal-y than your other stuff that I've heard, but I LOVE it. Your drum sequencing is great, and your production seem quite good to me overall. This whole thing is very very to listen to, and I keep wanting to get up and headbang with horns held high. Some of your guitar chords seem a bit distorted to me though, on the production end, like they were clipped in the recording process or in the mix itself. Great job everybody!! Remember not to be afraid to experiment and explore and most of all HAVE FUN!! Keep it up for the rest of the compo!

I'm actually not able to do much at the moment (life), basically just the framework, and what general instruments are used. A lot off the credit goes to Timaeus!
