SLyGeN Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Also for those who are concerned about saving space, it would be valuable to learn to convert hi-fi audio to the format of your choice. That way, the musicians can present hi-fi music, audiophiles can get their cleaner tracks, and the casual listeners can have their efficient MP3's.
The Damned Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Ick. I go away for a few days and stuff happens. OK, first, a release date. Due to some unfortunate MIAs fro some of the remixing staff, we had to reopen submissions to get a few more people in. They have to do their remixes, as well as the other remixers that have theirs in development. So a release date will be announced when it's ready to go. As for the format and quality thing, those posts were from AGES ago. Seriously, like... eons ago. They are not relevant now.
The Damned Posted September 24, 2008 Author Posted September 24, 2008 Welcome to Eshmasesh, our newest remixer. Hopefully, this guy (what, with his talent and all) will show us something awesome.
Cerrax Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 I've posted a resub of mine. finally got the levels the way they should be. God I hate GarageBand.
prophetik music Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 cerrax, you still owe me a collab on something from like two years ago.
Cerrax Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 cerrax, you still owe me a collab on something from like two years ago. Really? Was it the Tetrisphere project?
prophetik music Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 i don't remember what it was, actually. but you still owe me a collab or two.
chrono26 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 i don't remember what it was, actually. but you still owe me a penis. totally gay man
The Damned Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 EVERYONE OWES EVERYONE A COLLAB! OR PENIS! No vaginas, though. That's totally fagoqueerasexual.
prophetik music Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 da's screwed in a not-screwed kind of way
DragonAvenger Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I'm not sure if I win or lose. Prophet owes me a To Good Friends from like two years ago, so he can't talk.
prophetik music Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 i thought it was like 2.75 years or so. it was my sophomore year, i think.
The Damned Posted October 25, 2008 Author Posted October 25, 2008 I don't know. No one has commented on it since the resubmission. I like it. It'd say it's pretty much a yes.
Jackson Hugh Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 When is this album going to be finished? By christmas? I'm really wanting to hear this album; I remember playing all those Pokèmon games when I was little:grin:
The Damned Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 Music first, then art, then page and release. Music is mostly done, art is kind of stalled, and the page isn't even a basic layout yet. Incidentally, if anyone here is willing to volunteer some webpage voodoo skills, feel free to contact me about with some sample pages.
Doulifée Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/9499/magnetiul4.png http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/3106/taupiqueurvo2.png i was bored tonight. credits goes to andyjane (from the avatar thread) for the small pkmn pics.
The Damned Posted December 9, 2008 Author Posted December 9, 2008 Wow, Doulifée! You didn't have to do that.
Dafydd Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 6. Can I do a remix? (Or: "Can I do a remix?")YES! You can! It's easy! Just PM me with a submission of any remix you have. It doesn't have to be a Pokémon remix, but it does have to show your talent and style. Let us see, and more importantly, hear what you can do. Is this information still valid? If so, where can a list of hitherto unclaimed source tunes be found?
The Damned Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 If you think you can make it try. Worst case scenario, I say no thanks and we all move on.
The Damned Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 cobaltstarfire has graciously colored up some of our artwork, and I have to say, I rather like it. He's willing to do all of our artwork, which is a big step towards the webpage, which in turn is one of the three big parts of the whole project. That's just one of about a dozen or so of the pieces Poinko drew. I think that this will work out great.
prophetik music Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 does that mean that poinko's out, then? he hasn't been around in so long...
Hobocop Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Wow, that's a great picture. Is there anywhere to see the rest, or can you say which Pokemon were drawn at least? cobaltstarfire has graciously colored up some of our artwork ...That's just one of about a dozen or so of the pieces Poinko drew. You mean cobalt, right?
