Dafydd Posted February 11, 2008 Author Posted February 11, 2008 Wow, I don't know how, but I seem to have missed your last post, DJ Symbiotix. I'll listen to this as soon as it's done downloading (it's sooo slooow...).
SenPi Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Haha.. well there is an updated version somewhere in the WIP forum, so I suggest you check there After I uploaded that, I havent worked on it much since. Not sure where to go again
Vurez Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Well, I finished my Pharaoh Man mix. It's available at my site - http://www.vurez.com if anyone wants to check it out.
Teh Mick Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 As a fan of your ReMiXes, I'm satisfied ! I really like your middle eastern ReMiX, my favorite are the Ninja Gaiden one. The Pharaoh one is on par with the rest. Personnally I would raise the volume of the sitar in the beginning because I can't heard the melody very well.
Dafydd Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 Awesome. I really like this mix, Vurez, and I'm very glad you finished it at last.
Platonist Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I've been thinking this over and over and over.. and im not really sure where to go with this project but i'll definitly think it over and over again so don't be surprised if i drop a bomb on you one day
Dafydd Posted March 30, 2008 Author Posted March 30, 2008 You go ahead and do that, and I'll reconsider and reconsider starting this thing again.
Lie Mf B Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I could do Dive Man. In fact, I've already done it. But if Toma wants to do it (as listed), no problem of course. Here's my remix: http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=18388
Dafydd Posted October 21, 2008 Author Posted October 21, 2008 This is really sweet. Too bad it wasn't a mix of a track wasn't covered already. What are the voices saying? See you in the foobar Or maybe not...
Lie Mf B Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Oh yeah, we may very well see each other in the foobar! I studied DVP before I jumped off the wagon, but I have friends in the Update computer society there.
Dyne Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 So uh, is this project EVER going to get done? Seriously. I'm up for seeing anything Mega Man related get done. Let me know what's up, for real, please.
LuketheXjesse Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Do you REALLY want to fail a series with box art this good?
PogueSquadron Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Hey guys. I'm an illustrator who's looking to make a name for himself, and I've been a HUGE fan of OCR for many years. Please let me know if my services can be used for album art! Huge Megaman fan here. Megaman and Castlevania stand as two franchises that I think, above most others, have consistently had rockin' soundtracks year after year. My stuff can be found on this site if you're interested: http://www.jamiepogue.com Thanks dudes! Keep up the good work.
Dafydd Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 Dyne - yes, this project will ever be finished. If you are interested in joining, I will sign you up. Like I said somewhere, this project being put on ice means I'm not going to actively search for new participants, but any progress is welcome. I have updated the front post to better reflect the project's current status. If anyone who was previously on that list is still interested in participating, they'll have to say so. Luke - that's from the first game. Mega Man 1 could use a remix project of it's own, but that box art is really unrelated... nice resolution on that one though, I saved a copy. Pogue - your art looks excellent. Someone else said they'd be making a website for the project, I'll try to get a hold of him and see if he's still up for it, and whether he's doing art or not, but I would really like to have you!
PogueSquadron Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Sounds great. I really hope this album comes together well. While MM4 wasn't my favorite of Megaman soundtracks, there were some good tracks in there like Skull Man and Pharaoh Man.
LC Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Hopefully this project will pick up some momentum, I played the shit outta MM4 when I was a kid, it would bring back some awesome memories
MarkShark Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I'm really looking forward to this due to the fact that 4-6 just haven't gotten enough remix love.
Dafydd Posted January 20, 2009 Author Posted January 20, 2009 I'm glad some people are still interested in this. Unfortunately right now would be an absolutely terrible time for me to revive this, as I've just dived into a new semester at school, and it's looking pretty grim... best I can do now is wait for whoever was in this project before and see if they feel wrongfully removed from the tracklist. If they do they might be inspired to work a little harder. I can, however, not expect anyone else to join this project until I start putting more work into it myself, and right now, I have no time nor energy to start working on a mix of any of the tracks from this game. I'll PM Vurez and ask him if he ever got finished with this Pharaoh Man mix and if he still wants it in the project (regardless of whether he released it himself or not).
Cerrax Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Hey guys if the Stage Select theme is still available I still have my WIP from a while ago and I've been meaning to finish it.
Dafydd Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 PM me a link to the wip and I will sign you back up again.
snakeman305 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 C'mmon guys. I want this project to be finished so baaad.
Dj Mokram Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I know this project is on hold right now, but I'm working on the Cossack Stage 3-4 in the meantime. As a Rockman fan, I can't let that project to just wither an die.
Dafydd Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 You're welcome to work on any track, even though I'd appreciate it if you picked an "open" one (which you did, so thank you). The project being on hold doesn't mean I'm not accepting new mixers.
Dafydd Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 I will send you a reply tomorrow. Thanks for your interest!
