Sgt. Fuzzy Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 First post, by the way. I became a lurker around here after my account was deleted for inactivity. But straight to the point-- today I was reading the Sunday edition of The Straits Times, the main paper here in Singapore, and there's a section called Hot Bods, where people nominate their friends to be featured because of their physique. I don't usually read it, but this name caught my eye: Reuben Kee, 22 Music composer, Mr World Singapore 2007 Height: 1.84 m Weight: 75 kg Then it goes on into fitness regimen and diet, but that's not important. I guess the question is obvious. Is this the Reuben Kee we all know and love? Funny, with his mad piano skillz he really doesn't look like what I thought he would. Another question is, is this reason for me to start stalking him? Er, no. I don't swing that way. Quote
Fionn Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Hey, just 'cause he plays piano, doesn't mean he has square glasses and looks all scrawny. You don't need a pocket protector to play piano Quote
Effector Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Looking at , he's not a tiny guy. Great piano player, though. Quote
Moogle! Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Pardon my ignorance, but who is this guy? This is the first I've heard of him. Quote
Shadow Wolf Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Pardon my ignorance, but who is this guy? This is the first I've heard of him. Then you fail at life. Educate yourself. Quote

Dhsu Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Looking at , he's not a tiny guy. Great piano player, though. Yeah, I was gonna link to his videos too. It doesn't surprise me at all that he's Mr. Singapore (okay, maybe a little). But seriously, the guy is built. Quote
DrumUltimA Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Do You Know My Singaporean Roommate Shuxiang Yang???!?!?!?!?!? Quote
Sgt. Fuzzy Posted May 16, 2007 Author Posted May 16, 2007 No, because I'm only in... the American standard of high school now. Besides, Singapore may be small, but there's still a miniscule level of difficulty making connections. And yeah, after watching the YouTube videos, that's definitely him. Quote
DrumUltimA Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Well, he went to the raffles boy school or whatever it was... he only did two years of that, and was really smart. Quote
siven7 Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 holy crap! that's what reu looks like? nice playing! that's my boy! well-done! yeah!! I love his work from the CS project and his other remixes! yeah yeah yeah!! Quote

Shadow Wolf Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Why the hell did someone revive THIS year old thread, of all things? Quote

The Author Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 It's random things like that that I really hate. I'm gonna try to find a deeper meaning in this thread being brought back... Quote
Brycepops Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Thread was actually bumped by a spambot whose post was deleted. oh oops >_> My bad Jarvi <3 Quote
Palpable Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 It's random things like that that I really hate. I'm gonna try to find a deeper meaning in this thread being brought back... Well, the thread reminded me of how excellent Snake vs. Dragon is, and I'm listening to it right now. I guess random bumps like this help keep his memory alive. Quote
Shadow Wolf Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 A salute to the fallen then. Rest in peace Reuben, your music lives on. Quote
Monobrow Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Yeah... Pretty weird reading this thread because no one seemed to mention the obvious to the person who posted that article... However then I looked at the post dates like someone with a brain should. Anyway... Quote
