If you've seen these guys at MAGFest or anywhere else, you know they can tear it up. "Armcannon" is at the bottom of the list, so swing by and give them some support. EdgeCrusher
I know its good exposure and all, but I just wouldn't wish that upon even my worst enemy. Opening for Godsmack I mean, not Armcannon.
Arek the Absolute
Sucks that it is just for Godsmack. Godsmack = :/
djpretzel
Voted - who cares who they're opening for, or - heck - even if you like them. It's recognition for game music, so I'm for it. And they happen to rock.
Bahamut
Yeah, as little as I like Godsmack, I voted for them, hope it gets them some good exposure.
ifirit
I really don't care if they were going to open for Yanni, VG (as in very good) musicians need as much support as they can get.

So what other stuff can you guys play apart from the usual band stuff then? Anything weird?
Kanthos
Never heard of you guys until I looked around for Youtube videos. However, a video game band is still more deserving than other bands, so you got my vote anyway
chrisdlugosz
So what other stuff can you guys play apart from the usual band stuff then? Anything weird? one of our greatest failed experiments was that we took our already heavy-metal cover of power rangers, and morphed it into a slow reggae with me doing steel drums on the keyboard . . . also we do a super cliche but successfully loose, splattery blues version of hammer bros stage from mario3. danimal cannon
Ah shame, accordians are great. So what other stuff can you guys play apart from the usual band stuff then? Anything weird? When we record more stuff, we'll find some room for some accordian to tear it up.Are you referring to instruments? Our one guitarist Mike is a good vocalist so it allows us to experiment with vocals in some areas. We attempt a barbershop quartet type ending to our ghostbusters remix for example. Otherwise we have traditional band elements with everything else covered by Chris on the keyboards. For example we do a fun little thing with the People's Court theme where he uses a typewriter sounding patch. BTW, thanks so much for the support guys. I've always been kind of turned off by OCR just because electronic remixes are not my thing so much (even though I realize you have much more than that) and some of the judging stuff isn't really my thing either, but my heart is warmed by the VGscene support so I'll see if I can't poke my head around here once in a while. Again thanks guys Danimal Cannon
Fishy
Well, I was just wondering what chris meant by other instruments, like the steel drum reggae stuff . I'm a sucker for barbershop quartets aswell. Not everyone likes the judging aspect at OCR, but it does make sure that most all of what we get is quality stuff, and I think it shows. If you guys aren't really into to electronica, do a search for "goat" or "sixto", they're probably right up your alley.
