JoeFu
I'm too much of a wuss to play this game at night. The sounds... I hate when you can hear people talking, but you don't know where the heck they are.
Malaki-LEGEND.sys
Well that's what happens when people don't take things in context. Same thing with Resident Evil 5. People need to start getting the fact that videogames aren't strictly for children anymore in their heads.

Baleshadow
This game is great. Although now that I have the camera I tend to get shot a lot more.
sephfire
Haven't gotten to start the game yet, but the 360 demo was nothing short of incredible. I'm anxious to start the real thing.
ut2k4master
I don't think anyone's posted it and I think that on this site it would be especially important: Instead of charging for it and waiting for release through a music label, 2K's decided to release the Bioshock Orchestral Score on the Cult of Rapture website free of charge. They're all HERE and free of charge as MP3s. P.S. For anyone who likes piano solos, listen to "Cohen's Masterpiece" it's amazing, especially after you've played through the level. The Joker
This game is pure awesomeness. I've been playing on my HDTV, & it friggin incredible. There's been 2 especially great games I've played lately, both them them being FPS. Between this, The Darkness, as well as COD4 & Halo3, this years got a whole bunch of top notch shooters. Translation = me happy!

Freeze enemies before you kill them and you don't have to worry about getting shot, ever.
Bahamut
So, I don't know how many of you know this, but apparently Bioshock, and the demo too, installs the infamous Sony SecureROM rootkit on unsuspecting computers.
Malaki-LEGEND.sys
Trying to boost 360 sales?

What? What? Sony rootkit? On my computer? Great. Just fucking great. I'm so glad that this was mentioned in the End User Agreement. Now I'm going to have to look for it and find it, then try to remove it somehow. I want links, Bahamut. I want some proof before I completely freak out. The Dennis
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Securom (at the bottom, known problems) It's all over the webs! We'll have to hack all IPs SIMULTANEOUSLY. At any rate, how to delete it is located here: http://www.gamingbob.com/2007/08/23/bioshock-installs-rootkit-including-demo/ I'm not gonna bother for now, because I'm not yet having problems. The Damned
Is it funny or scary that Microsoft's rootkit removal system crashes and fails when I try to run it? I mean, it goes straight from the icon to the error reporting window. Nothing opens up. It just goes straight to error reporting. Now, either MS's own rootkit software is fucked up, or I have said rootkit, and it's preventing me from running any software that would let me find and remove it. Cerrax
Just played the demo. SICK. When I actually have money, this will be in my possession. There's too many good games coming out this year. I wont have enough to get all of them

Bahamut
Sourceplz. I first heard of it from Slashdot - http://www.gametab.com/news/1017115/ But yeah, stuff like this is why I don't buy PC games much at all anymore. They treat you like a criminal and cripple your computer to protect their sales.
WesPip
Apparently the Big Daddies roam around in search of the Sisters from the nodes on the wall. I think you may have to stalk them until they knock the Sisters off the wall. Yeah, it has to be something like that. One time I stood and watched a BD banging on the node trying to get the LS to come out. I dunno if she would've after a while or not, cause I was too busy shooting her would-be-bodyguard in the face with electric buckshot. So, who actually harvests Little Sisters? I've been rescuing them all, so I'm curious about the difference in the amount of Adam you get.

Soma
I'm probably about 80% in the game. I've been harvesting all but like 3 of the Little sisters. It affects certain parts of the storyline, and apparently saving them is the "good" ending. I wish i had stuck with saving them.
Effef
Is man not entitled to the game he buys? NO, says the man at Securom. It belongs to 2K. NO, says the man at 2K. It belongs to us. NO, says the man at Microsoft. It belongs to our license purchasers. I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose...piracy! Where the gamer would not be censored, where the PC owner would not be bound by petty encryption, where the buyer would not be constrained by corporate greed. And with the downloading of your torrents, piracy could become your salvation.

I-n-j-i-n
I'm actually pretty proud to actually buy a game I'd be glad paying for. I couldn't say that about a lot of games. And who really cares about gaming politics? I mean, really?
