Wow, I never really gave the most recent version of this a good listen... I'm really impressed!! Often times when I hear people trying to remix, and they try to incorporate variation/embellish the melody, it comes out sounding awfully contrived and flat. However, the embellishments and variation you use sounds so organic, it's really beautiful :D The atmosphere of the soundscape is fantastic, I love whatever you're using for the bass. What are you using for the bass? The drum production is fantastic too. Whatever you need to do to finish this, freakin do it!

Wow, glad this got bumped cause I never saw this thread. Manoria Cathedral never got enough love. That song was actually one of my first real elaborate attempts at remixing back in the days of VGMix2 using my guitars and a cheap casio keyboard. Good days...

Will listen to this when I get home.

Just thought I'd throw out another "Hurry up and finish this". This is still my number one favorite on the entire site, and it's not even complete. This is seriously the best remix I have ever heard in my life.

Hey! Sorry it's been so long on the update (years nearly yeah...) Ever since I moved into university I've had to start afresh on a new desktop, so all my old project files are stuck back at home. Unfortunately, this remix was one of the project files on my old computer. Listening it over again though, I'm thinking of just cutting the track around the 5 minute mark, touching up and considering that finished. Would that be enough? I'm at this midway point where I'm afraid to start again because I feel like I'd lose a lot of the stuff I had going in the past, but I also DO want to do a remake because I feel like I could do much better. :S

You responded!!! :-o Five minutes is too short. Ten minutes is too short. I'm the wrong person to ask. However, I'm sure whatever closure you put on it, as long as it's along the same inspirational vein that this came from, will be good. :-P

I love how this always manages to find a way to pop up every year. If that's not saying something, I don't know what is.

I'll go along with everyone else though, this is a fantastic remix. One I've held in high regards since I joined. Here's to Robotaki heading back to finish this one at some point.
