  1. So basically I can't decide what genre I'm doing so I'm doing all of them. <3

  2. It's good to see some optimism this round, but I think I'll always prefer your earlier remixes Flexstyle.

  3. Hey there. This is actually my first thread on the forums tl;dr: Call (347) 826-3536 to hear "Guile's Theme Goes with Metal" over the phone. I'm a developer evangelist at a company called Twilio, and I recently wrote a tutorial blog post on how to programmatically play music over the phone with some JavaScript. The example I used as the song to play over a phone call was the Guile's Theme Goes with Metal remix by Shinray. There's a nice shoutout to OCR at the end of the section where I describe how to set things up. I thought maybe some of you would appreciate the idea of being able to call a phone number and hear Guile's Theme. Even if playing music over the phone does result in pretty low quality, I think there's some novelty value in there. If any of you are developers or wanted to set something like this up with other remixes, the code wouldn't be very involved and is all explained in my post. You can check it out here: https://www.twilio.com/blog/2015/08/playing-tunes-over-the-phone-with-the-twilio-nodejs-library-in-es6.html Let me know if you have any comments or questions

  4. I somewhat fixed my song and now, although it's not good, it's not a joke anymore. Usa is helping me save it so there should be something at least listenable by tomorrow. I'm done with the arrangement and I just need to add proper transitions and finishing touches/mix/master tomorrow.

  5. Thalzon

    Nintendo Wii U

Pikachu Libre is kind of a lame addition when we have several pokemon that personify wrestling that aren't getting used (Hawlucha and Hariyama come to mind), but I'd welcome another fun fighter for the system.

  6. Ya it usually happens from time to time, but when it does I think its easier to just quantize the whole track and manually fix the lil notes then to try to find another Midi (that will probly have the same issues) and download them from random websites... Ya its a pain in the ass but I always consider these little moments a training session to better your listening skills and be able to fix/play the song by ear for future projects.

  7. Looks like I'm going this week. I'm thinking Gregorian Chant Breakbeat. http://www.musicgenreslist.com/ Hope that helps. Oh, and here's my lyrics from GLL's remix last week: Darkesword compo With a deadline coming very soon Mixing n' fixing Shoveling caffeine in with a spoon Not much time left Gotta rush this and get it done 'bout to master Oh no I forgot a whole section I'm halfway done I don't want to let the team down And I've only used one theme Just hours left Barely awake Not much time left Gotta rush this and get it done 'bout to master Oh no I forgot a whole section I have a feeling these will become highly relevant for some of us in a couple of days.

  8. Arrangement is really nice, but what really takes it to the next level is the tones! Both the Rhodes and the guitar sound fantastic, as is the guitar solo.

  10. Brandon sent me a few things. His track will be very good and heavy, as always I wrote my notes for VV1 and VV2, as a quick track-by-track retrospective. I'm waiting on Brandon's track to finish the album's art (back tracklist) and my own notes. It WILL be sent to eval this week-end or when I get a good connexion during a lunch break or evening.

  12. Fair warning, you will be (subtly) Rick Rolled again in round 3. Incorporating our third source nicely was actually a lot of fun in this track
