  1. I'm reading the write up and having helped give damonz feedback during the making of this raging fuckity, fluffity piece of earcandy, i'm sat here reading the write up and thinking "There's something wrong with these transitions?" Going on record and saying I strongly disagree, cause these transitions are in my eye, sick. In fact, 9:02 is such a fucking good transition that when I hear the Gourmet Race now, my brain goes "wait why isn't it transitioning to green greens?" - When a transition is so good I get confused when I don't hear it in the source tune, I say thats a job well fucking done personally. As for the rest of it, what can I say? Its a fucking magnum opus of sorts. Yeah its a medley wah wah wah but its executed so damn fucking well. And the last 3 minutes or so are simply put... worth the wait. I may be biased, since i'm a good friend and I saw this mix kinda come into fruition, but is something that definitely deserves to be applauded. Cute, cuddly yet supremely epic. This doesn't deserve the free download imo, its too good for that. Go buy the album instead!

  2. Great mix, very unique. Kinda reminds me of the "Awaken" (the Pillar Men's theme from Jojo''s Bizarre Adventure). It might be the distinctly foreign vibes, hip hop backbone, and the vocals at the beginning.

  3. I just wanted to let you know that I think it's awesome that you're undertaking this huge task. I've been a fan of this soundtrack for 24 years and listen to it often. I enjoy your takes on it and look forward to any future tracks should you carry on. If I could contribute musically I would. I just don't have the talent outside of playing by ear. This thread may be a little quiet as far as group participation goes, but you've got yourself a fan and supporter right here. Keep up the good work and stay creative.......GOOD LUCK!

  4. That's pretty funny that I wasn't the only one who heard the Super Mario Bros. Castle Theme. If you do decide to try that out, I hope to hear it to see how it turned out. If it works, though. Otherwise it might not be a good idea. But I guess we'll see.

  5. It's a plugin/synth that features a TON of stuff. Lots of great analog synth sounds for leads, pads, etc. Also lots of good choir sounds that sound really clean. Omnisphere 2 is the current version. This video pretty much sold me on it. The variety of sounds it comes with is so huge, I almost always use the search bar to find it.

  6. You know, there has been a couple of times where I've been thinking about this song and suddenly find myself thinking about the SMB Castle theme, but I thought I was just weird. Maybe there is something there after all... I do like the idea of using the jingle as a transition to Wart's if I go that route, and yeah I don't think I'd do it if it doesn't sound natural. Seems lazy to just paste it on the end. Thanks, dude

  7. Dude, your new Undertale EP is amazing! *0* "Master of Dummies" really caught me off guard - such brass, much funky <3 As soon as I get some money, I'll certainly buy the EP on Google Play

  8. Xenosaga II: The Orgulla boss battle. I tried for MONTHS to beat her. I employed every strategy I possibly could find on the internet or think of and I could never beat her. I eventually came to the realization that my crew was simply not strong enough and I didn't have enough items, but they didn't have shops (wtf?) in the 2nd one and at that point in the game, there aren't many enemies you can backtrack to fight and grind. This is something that has ended me playing literally every JRPG (really have grown to hate those games) ever. From FFX to Star Ocean: TLH. At SOME point, the game becomes a numbers battle and you'll have to grind for god knows how long if you want to beat the next boss.

  9. Oh my, I remember playing Alex Kidd in Miracle Wold on the SMS when I was young. I actually remember this music! This remix is well done for sure.

  10. excellent intro- though i wish a little more bass was in there. A huge filtered bass would have sounded incredible under the roiling and bitcrushed percussion. The lead guitar had moments were it sounded very good, and some where the limitations of the sample showed through, but overall I think it worked out pretty well. Length was about perfect, and though I wish there was a little bit more variation in the sections, i'm cool with how this mix panned out. The ending was classy and brief without being cheesy., which is always a plus.
