  1. Hi OCRemix. Here's a link to my remix. I've also attached it to my email in case y'all don't like Soundcloud. ReMixer name: Savino Real name: Will Savino Email address: website: https://soundcloud.com/will-savino/ userid: 53881 name of game: Fallout 3 name of arrangement: Megaton Rock Name of song: Main Title Composer: Inon Zur Original: youtube link here Everything else: I love the main theme, especially the really ambiguously hopeful nature of it, but I really wanted to have a different harmonic take on it, something that better reflected the sort of jazzy element of the Americana aesthetic used throughout the Fallout series. I also like using sounds that are clearly electronic but have an organic nature to them. And while I avoided the militaristic drums and horns used in the original, I still want the music to be just as propulsive, hence that ostinato rhythm I use throughout. I hope that's all I need. Thanks a lot, guys!

  3. This is the update and ReMix that the Disco Train needed so very much. Taking all the groovy goodness from the original and turning it up to eleven with full on vocoded vocals and a fresh disco beat is terrific. Awesome mixpost Light Pillar!

  4. Trolls comes up a lot in the Talkback it seems. In the name of PC ReMix, I declare the album project has to happen.

    "Temperature" Music

Sorry, I only classify music as "metal" or "not".

  6. Reverse chron order for posts on a per-user basis is something that Invision just doesn't support out of the box. You can, however, click the date in the latest reply column of the topic which will take you to the last post. There's also topic previews. When you mouseover any topic on the forum, there's a little black circle with a down arrow that appears in it. Here's what happens when you click it: As you can see, it shows a couple of things: a preview of the first post, a preview of the first unread post, and a preview of the last post. You can click on those "first, first unread, last" links to take you directly to those posts. Try it out.

  7. Saw this on starmen.net. An excellent take on a gorgeous song. Even though it's very conservative, that's not a bad thing. You've enhanced an already great piece of source material, and you started adding more variation at around 0:44. I just wish it were longer, but what you have is really beautiful.

  9. I am interested in claiming "Forbidden Land", but I see the May 15th date and I don't know if that means I need to submit a finished product, or just a WIP. My semester ends on May 4th, so I'd be able to get started May 5th. Let me know! I'd love to add my own style to the already-string-heavy original piece

  10. Fun episode! Trolls does have great music. Star Control 1 is not a shareware game. You can still buy Duke Nukem 1 & 2 from various sites, GOG.com and the 3D Realms site itself.

    FFVII: Wall Market

"oppressed people" is one of the coolest track from ff.vii and I fell for this remake right from the start. When you posted "Update 2" it sounded even better! So hey, I'm really excited to hear the finalizing version of this amazing remake. I cannot wait anymore! I also liked your reasoning that it's like a band playing it live sort of sound structure. Totally different, but totally recognizable. Yet staying true to its theme... waiting impatiently.
