You are right. When I used to review songs earlier, I usually went on talking about the bad things a mix had. However, due to the desolation growing around, I decided to stop doing it. Simply restricted myself to mixes I really like. Besides, when I see someone doing it, artists generally do not like reading this kind of comments, because they think they are perfect and their point is above everyone's else opinions. So some of those people stopped writing this posts because they're not taken seriously. Laziness is something, but it is not the core. And now that the standards are higher, less actual feedback will come. Few people really cares about improvement; since they get posted on front page, fame is what actually matters to most.

Well... not much of a RPG, but if you get Cave Story (freeware platformer), I think it will work; since it had too much talking.

Short. Yet incredibly scary. Yet amazingly well done. This guy still impress me a lot. Every song posted, there is an improvement. Strings are spot on and the choirs are pretty cool. It didn't needed a lot of samples to become a great track.

I haven't done such a thing, but I suppose I will no longer need this file, since I did some rework. Now backup will be my priority.

You can copy/paste the notes to actual samples. Plus when a MIDI is imported, it displays the accurate bpm of the song and if it uses panning, pitch... whatever, those properties will be available in the file as well. Some users do use midi files to make collabs. For instance, a person does an arrangement in FL and export it to MIDI. Then He/She will send it to another individual, who will import the MIDI and replace instruments to improve production, or add arrangement parts...anything. Imagination is infinite.
