  1. just an fyi for people posting spoilers, you don't have to use [ color=black ] tags to make the text back to normal. Anything you type outside of the [ color=white ] [ /color ] tags will be the default color. Using Ramma's Dark Skin, I can live with having spoilers highlighted for me in bold white, but seeing non-spoilery text in black against a black background can get annoying.
  2. If you want to make sigs for people, we have two sig request threads. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=6730 http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2202 If you want to make generic sigs for anyone to use, post them in the sig shoppe http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4315
  3. A rental should suffice (or borrow it from your friend if he still has his). You're only going to use it once (unless you end up deleting the Homebrew Channel). After you get your hands on a legit copy of TP, use the Twilight Hack to install the Homebrew Channel. The HB Channel will allow you to run homebrew straight off an SD card, rather than run the TP Hack each time.
  4. That's normal. It just means the game is stored on a CD instead of a DVD. I'm not too sure about 2nd gen PS2's but from personal experience, PS2's have trouble reading CD's after a while. An old remedy for this was to put two pieces of tape (or a CD label) on the disc to weigh it down, since CD's are lighter than DVDs. Sounds like the previous owner of your copy botched the CD label application, making the disc unstable (hence the noise). The only consequence to your PS2 is it might damage the lens. My first PS2 started making loud noises when loading a disc, before it finally stopped reading them altogether.
  5. You think that's high, the high score on the Wii version is 3067. Though granted, they've had it a couple days longer than Xbox owners. I remember the first day, most high scores were in the 300s, with first place being a little over 1000.
  6. Crystal Skull DVD comes out on Tuesday Yeah, they always show an encore presentation after the Colbert Report
  7. Should've mentioned I have it on the Wii, so no gamertags or friends list. All we get in our rankings screen is the top ten scores.
  8. Endless Attack is great. I just wish there was a way to check your own high schore, and maybe some variety in music (like after every boss, you get a different song).
  9. Unfortunately, those are the only 8-bit portraits in the picture packs. All the other ones are of the official art. I'll keep an eye out for the next picture pack, which should contain the other four robot masters.
  10. Some Mega Man 9 portraits, taken from the MM9 Gamer Picture Pack 5. Originally at 64 x 64, but they scaled down nicely down to 32 x 32 Splash Woman: Concrete Man: Galaxy Man: Magma Man: LT: Awesome! Are there any more that can be made?
  11. Yeah, that ain't working for me either, though I think I found the problem. so just uninstall the version that came with chipamp and get the 1.2 beta from hcs64.com EDIT: Just tested it out, and now it works.
  12. Sounds to me like you're missing the .usflib file, which should've been included in the USF archive you downloaded.
  13. I was going to get Proto Man, but ended up getting Endless Attack instead, and it's awesome. I love how some of the rooms are taken straight out of earlier games. My current record is 31 screens, though I would've gotten further if I wasn't so stubborn in sticking with the Mega Buster during the Jewel Man battle in Screen 30.
  14. Yeah, but the GBA collection was supposed to have them in color, plus having them all on a single cartridge is better than carrying around all five.
  15. I thought the sounds effects worked pretty well with the song. Not like they were all over the place, just at the beginning and end. But yeah, Fly Me to the Sunshine is what made me realize how awesome Wave Man's theme is. Even requested it here about a year ago.
  16. It comes out next week, but from what I've read, it makes the game even harder. No shop, no support items, and he takes double damage and gets knocked back farther when hit. Sounds like fun.
  17. Back when the huge ads were on, I noticed they were on the older vids as well. My guess is ads are applied to the videos by the player in a playlist sort of fashion.
  18. I didn't really know much about it other than it's a 2D platformer, but that ad is enough to get me excited.
  19. Just like all the other devils in previous titles. That boss seems like the perfect candidate for an easy Marathon fight achievement, but the boring boss music just makes me want to finish the fight as soon as possible. I use the Classic Controller, using y to shoot and b to jump. The d-pad on the Wiimote is a little too small for my tastes.
  20. Why is this in off topic anyway? Video game threads go in community
  21. It doesn't come out until next week, Oct. 1st. also, from the IGN review:
