Whew...this was my first MAGFest and I have to say... DAAAAMN, that rocked! It was definitely awesome to meet everyone that showed up. I was definitely excited about the gaming, but more so about being able to hang out with some of the biggest names in the community. And finally, FINALLY, I got one wish I've had since I've been on OCR, and that was to see Ailsean, LIVE! Man, the Smash Bros. Concert was off the hook! THEY HAD BACON!!!!

After a five hour drive, after what should have only been THREE HOURS, I have made it to the hotel. I am, officially, at MAGFest. I'll be keeping a bit of a journal, and I'll probably post it at ThaSauce come monday, so look for it. For now, anyone here at MAGFest that wants my room number or my cell phone number, send me a PM.

Happy New Year to everyone, I hope you're ready to commit to your resolutions! HA HA HA HA HA! Good luck!

I finally got a copy of Rock Band, and yes, it's as sweet as ever! I love drumming, but I started a solo career with guitar. I'm working at medium right now, and I should finish it up by New Year's since I'm just splitting time between some things. I can't wait to try singing, should be fun!

Larry, you truly are a repository of information. Rock on.

Hey, thanks. I'm really looking forward to building the new machine. -

I'm glad you answered this one Shadowolf. I'm working at saving up for upgrades to my own machine. I'm doing dual-core, minimum of 2GB RAM, and a hefty graphics card. Of course, I need to figure out what my cooling system is going to be, because fans aren't cutting it. I actually need to acquire another fan or my current set up. -
"Controls", a video game movie scored by me!

This was very cool to watch. A bit slow during the part where the developer's wife and son come in, but otherwise, very enjoyable. Your music fit the mood of the movie as well. I think my favorite part was the dream Zara was having at the beginning, where she was in Ruto, at night, and everybody was an NPC. -

Well, to be honest, this post should probably be in the Help and Newbies forum, but nonetheless, I'll see what I can figure out here. Now, IMHO, I would go with the motherboard in Cerberus, mainly for its faster FSB. I do have questions though, what is the highest amount of RAM you can have on both boards? Also, what is the fastest processor you can put onto these boards, and do they have to be a single core processor, or a dual core processor? These things would definitely be beneficial to know before giving you a further opinion. It would also be beneficial to know the manufacturer of these boards as well as their model number. For example, my desktop's mobo is a Gigabyte 7n-400L. -
I'm excited as well. This will mark my first MAGFest experience.

Now that's a great idear. -
Looks like I've got to get the game. It looked great, nice to see others have played it.

It's official, I have reserved my room. One king size bed, in a non-smoking room await. Depending on traffic, I should reach Alexandria between 7 and 9 on January 4th.

Okay, two points: 1. Pirating is wrong 2. You can find free software that isn't pirated, you just need to know where to look. That said, if you want realistic guitar, you've got two choices, you can either a) find a piece of software that can emulate what you want, or you can buy software like Guitar Rig 3 and some kind of input such as Line 6's GuitarPort, or Native Instruments Rig Kontrol (which incidentally, can be bought with Guitar Rig 3 as a package).

I saw on Cartoon Network that they're going to air Futurama one more time as a marathon, and then it's over. The contract they have has run out, and since Comedy Central is picking it up, I guess CN is out of luck. Still, enjoy. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!

Since I don't know what page my post is on, I figured I'd update with the final list of what I'm bringing. Since I'm not sure whether or not there'll be a place to plug in at (and if there is, please, let me know via PM), I'm going to default to my acoustic, however, if I find out otherwise, I'll bring my electric guitar and my amplifier. So here's the list of what I'm really bringing: acoustic guitar (if there's a place to plug in, my electric instead) electric guitar and amp (but only if there's a place to plug in) six-hole ocarina "C" tin whistle -
I'm looking forward to doing this next year. Except this time, I plan to start in Early November. It'll give everyone more time to get things done. I may even actually post a rearrangement next year, considering what one of my goals for the year is. But besides that, I think this has been a great success. And I know that it couldn't have been done without the effort of everyone on the album. With that said, there's only one thing left for me to say... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
-
I wanted to mention to everyone that there has been an update, I posted one last track for the album, it's a bonus track by Fratto. While it's just under 2 minutes long, it's still a great track, and definitely worth listening to. So please go ahead and grab that from the site, and enjoy!
-
Somehow, it ended up in junk mail, and I didn't see it for some reason or another. So, I'm going to post it as a bonus track. It should be up within a short amount of time. My sincerest apologies Fratto.

Merry Christmas, and good tidings all around! As promised, it's midnight here on the East Coast, and you know what that means! It's the release of An OverClocked Christmas!! But, before you get to celebrating, I wanted to remind everyone that this is not an official site project album. This is just an ordinary project done by people who love and enjoy Christmas, and are sharing their joy through music. I hope that you will all enjoy this album, and have a safe and happy Christmas time! Once again, Merry Christmas!!! An OverClocked Christmas
