  1. Has this Remixer's remixing career bitten the dust, or will it return from the grave? What a horrible night for a curse of the one-remix-remixer!
  2. Doesn't show its age at all, except in the best possible way, heralding the quality and complexity of later mixes. Ahead of the game indeed, this mix always brightens my mood, and manages to remain engaging and uplifting all these years later.
  3. ...but feels rather short, especially given how nicely it builds up.
  4. Bobby is right, calling the mix 'sexy' or some derivative thereof just isn't sufficiently describing just how smooth and relaxing this tune is, but I was being a bit lazy there. Kudos to his follow-up, which is more along the lines of how I normally comment, channeling the weather and moods certain songs evoke.
  5. I get the sense of rising over vast and ancient ruins in the desert, and then steeply descending through miles of labyrinthine tunnels, speeding along, and then up and out again to face the starry night sky. Very cool stuff!
  6. Ah, WillRock, always taking me on a first-class trip back to my childhood and the Golden Days of Yore! Neither familiar with the source tune or game, but I love WR and his mixes, so it's an insta-download.
  7. I feel there's always room for more mixes. It's only when mixes start to sound samey that the "retreading old ground" really feels unnecessary, and that's on the mixer, not the source. This was a gentle, relaxing and contemplative piece.
  8. This makes for such productive back-ground work music, and I mean that in the best possible way. It just makes everything...flow better.
  9. Just heard the GSO at the Smithsonian do this for their encore earlier today - wonderful song, wonderful remix!
  10. I can see how this has Firefly-esque/ gritty roaming the cosmos feel to it, definitely! To me it also sounds like a first night flight or take-off, testing a new plane, picking up speed, then lifting off, and ascending through the cloud cover, with only the stars above!
  11. Oh man, The Sims series have been such a longtime favorite (I've been playing them since I was 16, and the SimCity series since before!). I keep the "build" tracks from the original on my player since they're great piano pieces- and so is this! Great work, GUIFrog!
  12. This mix is a helpful mechanic, pleasantly busying itself in the background, working on the cogs and machinery that makes everything else work.
  13. I just read about the Shadowrun Kickstarter project; and was looking up the music. I found some "revamped" tunes on YouTube, check the I'd love to see the Genesis and/or SNES music revisited. Someone submitted a remix a long time ago (It's Dark at 3 AM) but it did not get passed.
  14. If this had played in the lead up to and during the dam level, it wouldn't have been so damn frustrating....
  15. Ah, so beautiful! I can see magnolia and cherry (isn't it always cherry?) petals blossom and scatter across the Spring Wind: Life returns eternal!
  16. Can't believe I never commented on this, I always look forward to it kicking in when it turns up on my playlist, where it's been happily nestled forever~
  17. Morsier...mmmm, Morsier. That word just sounds so pleasant! How was your day? Pretty Morsier, I'd say! Love the influence here, and the scaled-back chippy'ness...just enough sweetness, without getting too saccharine.
  18. Great music is great music indeed. Definitely conjures up images of braving a winter storm with winds buffeting you this way and that, cold gusts bearing in on you from all directions, but persevering onwards just because you're a bad-ass blue robut like that.
  19. IMHO, this just doesn't stand up to the test of time...it stands up and *puts on shades* gets down.
  20. YES!! I loved this series growing up - I still have it loaded up for DOSBox. Great music, great mix!!
  21. Definitively would've loved to hear more. Is this how ninjutsu reptiles groove during slow moons?
  22. Getting sh!t done. What means I? That's what happens when I listen me some of this tunage.
