  1. Man, Dale can sing anything and I'd love it. This mix proves it.
  2. Great mix, love how it rises urgently and descends peacefully.
  3. Brief aural palette cleanser. Not memorable but not offensive.
  4. Criminally under-reviewed, but then this site churns out so much good music that it's inevitable some great tunes will be over-looked. The title and music really buoy the spirits - it's as if you've just passed through a storm, and the clouds have cleared away...land, ho!
  5. It's April and there's no rain today baby! woo! *dance*
  6. watching the waves lap the sand peacefully... everything is serene, the sky a clear azure blue nary a wind stirs your hair but then a speck of grey on the horizon, a cloud bank, a storm approaches now the tides pick up, grow heavier, rougher.. taller and louder, they barrel against the slick rocks, churning the beach to mud wall after wall of water comes crashing down... then everything harmonizes again, not as peaceful as at first, but no longer as violent great mix
  7. Spring hath returned! Good guy guitar gets green things growing 'gain
  8. A bold and interesting mix. Certainly well-made, but I found it created for a more jarring-than-grooving mood.
  9. I love that DJP's website linked to in the writeup is so wonderfully laid out - very 90's As to the song? It immediately scrambled my zigs. PS: I clicked for Romz. No joy
  10. At first I saw that JB's last mix was more than 6 years ago, and I was like D: then I saw that he moved onto iD Software, and now's at Glu Mobile (Freemium 3D gaming) and I was hey, good for him! :] but then I still couldn't find any new vgmixes from the man, so I was still like D: (The mix was so good it prompted me to look that stuff up ) His website's really cool btw. http://www.thewingless.com
  11. Parts of the track from The World Ends with You sound like this song.
  12. Lovely song, but it sent me diving around for my phone..I thought it was vibrating...it was just the song:P Stupid phantom phone noises XD This song plus the "ruin boss themes with blues and jazz" rejoinder on OCR's YT comments section for the trailer makes me grin stupidly.
  13. Wikipedia Info MobyGames Entry Soundtrack : The Blue Valley by Karsten Koch Deep in Her Eyes by Peter 'Skaven' Hajba Mystique Parts 1 and 2 by 'Timelord' Symphonic by Dual Crew The video-game music I'd most compare this game's OST to would be Alexander Brandon's original score for the first Deus Ex.
  14. what a cool source tune, wish more people remixed it, I love the steady driving energy behind this.
  15. Man everything track from Take Flight deserves posting, and this one's no exception. This thing is full of sweet chip tunez you'd get a cavity -- and then halc knows just when to back the tempo down and mellow out.
  16. nodyahead nodya head nodya head repeat
  17. arrr, avaaaaaaaast me harteys, etc, etc. Has that same great energy as Kara-Turian nights!
  18. Another mystery, a prolific mixer from the site's early days, now long absent. Good song, shame. Is he actively making mixes anymore?
  19. This mix is both relaxing, energizing and soothing - it ramps me up while calming me down. The piano gives me ASMR for sure: Very nice!
  20. And lo, he stretched forth his palm, and beheld its likeness carven in the face of the great white orb above.
  21. Love every mix from the RoS series, this one is no exception. This is the first year I am not a forever alone ninja (although I guess last year counted too, except at the time it wasn't a certain thing). Being a solo ninja is hard, working together with your ninja-mate harder still. What a great mix, that it makes me reflect on (and try to appreciate) all these things. 5 heart-shaped shurikens for j00
