Any chance somewhere down the line I can submit a 2.5 file for the source? I'm pretty sure you can open 2.5 files in 3.0, that way you get none of them combinatory majiggers and shi' as a starting point . Either way, I'm gonna be voting like a biatch on this one .

I like the sound of that, when I get 3.0 I'd join in for sure.

In my experiance, wavedashing/landing is best used at most, a few times per match, otherwise it justs becomes pridictable. Unless your using it for some crazy shine combo or something, I think its a nice thing to be able to do, but I wouldn't rule out professional play just because you can't/don't want to do it; look at Aniki playing Link, barely ever does it. Obviously with some characters its more useful then with others, such as fox/falco, but I get along just fine with Marth vs people who can wavedash all day. Because I don't do it very often, people don't expect it when it happens. I use it the same as i use Marth's counter; situationally, and not-too often. I would agree with the people who say some people take it too far, but I get enjoyment out of unlocking the full potential for styles in gameplay. Its just a matter of opinion where you draw the line.

yeah they do go down quite often. There are loads of free tracks, because theres so many tracks on the damn games. Just ask which ones you want and someone will tell you if they're taken or not.

What do you mean connect a guitar? Do you own a guitar and you want to record something to use in fl? Any keyboard with a MIDI output will work, so all you need to do is find one that suits your budget. You'll want a USB MIDI keyboard probably, M-Audio make some nice cheaper one.

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone thinks its worth splitting up the site projects forum into Completed and WIP Projects, because atm, the WIP projects sort of take up a lot of room on the general WIPs page. Its also pretty annoying when project threads move, which they had been doing quiet often for whatever reason, and although its nice to see them stationary, I just think they could have their own sub-forum somewhere so as not to take up room elsewhere.

Well for the first few they were new and exciting, so people wanted to be more a part of them. I guess you've just gotta hope newer people will arrive with the same enthusiasm.

I figure I should get some kind of boss based sig for June, albiet a bit late. I've decided I'd like some kind of Fishy based boss, but I can't decide which one. I thought of a few: Emerald Weapon The swimming colossus from SotC Sin <== lol, hes a phish i swear Anima Just whatever water-based bosses you can think of really, that would be cool.

We have a page for scores should artists want to make them public here: http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3480 However: a notation tab wouldn't be worth the trouble of implimenting imo because there are not enough scores provided and a lot of electronic genres don't really lend themselves to notation anyway. You could always directly request some sheet music for a remix you like in particular from the remixer, but thats about as far as it will go anytime soon i think.

Don't know if this has come up yet: What about projects? I'm particularly interested in this because i'm on like loads of the newer ones. Do those apply to this draft? We never really officially submit them unless we do it seperately or they're showcased, so how do they fit into the policy?

I agree with hemo really, no offence, but I'm not sure enough people know you to trust whats happening with it. I don't think I could do this kind of thing by myself either because not a lot of people know my stuff. Combined with your pretty restrictive and specific entry requirements and the fact you only want "electric" remixes and you're just taking away more potential remixers. I would have been happy to join if it weren't for the genre restriction, so theres a bit of proof that it maybe wasn't in the best interest for you to do that. Projects should be varied, so theres something for everyone, otherwise a lot of people just won't like any of it, as opposed to liking a few tracks in styles they like more. I'd hate to see a project fail, so really rethink what you're trying to do here. I'd say you should postpone this and find some up help.

There are far too many Sonic projects, yet alone projects in general for most people to want to do this. I think some other games need more love personally.

You offered to do something we didn't want, so we politely told you no. You came back AGAIN and asked to do the same thing a few months further in to which we AGAIN politely said no, and noted you'd tried it before. And to top that you've repeatedly annoyed us with comments about our progress without fully knowing whats going on. You say you've check the first post, and yet if you had, you'd be able to tell me when we upddated that first post. How much could have changed in that time? You've proven you don't have the capacity to be polite to us, and then you have the nerve to try and act like we're being unreasonable. Did you ever stop to think "Oh wait, 10 people disagree with me, is there any chance i might be wrong?". And to top it off, comments like "Besides It would be useless to ban my ip anyhow...I can and will use Jap to bypass it..." really don't help your case for not being an asshole. Just seriously, if you want the project when its done, fine, download it, we made it for people to listen to, but just don't post in this thread ever again, not even to respond, because you're doing nothing but making yourself an even bigger asshole and pissing us off. Post a review if you want, but I don't value your opinion whatsoever.

Well I got all the way up to archades and got stuck because I wasn't sure what I was doing, so I restarted and did everything properly. I was about 10 levels higher by the time I got to where I was before, made things a lot easier.

I just completed this like, 10 minutes ago and I'm still in shock from the sheer epicness.

I just recognised the guitar tone and then checked the credits to make sure.

It's like the second highest rated flash of all time at the moment, so thats pretty cool. Not sure if they even asked though.
