  1. Just sent my entry in, Get'm done people!
  2. Do you have your audio card latency turned down? If not, get ASIO 4 ALL then go to your audio settings and turn the audio buffer down until just before underruns start popping up. This'll help your latency. Also, I don't know what master-sync does, but I don't use it.
  3. I might drop in to a few of these if they get started again. I'll be a n00b at first obviously but it should help streamline my process. Plus I've heard that they're a ton of fun.
  4. The late night TF2 fests we've been having on the server for pretty much the whole year, such awesome fun. There've been better and worse ones, but they're all pretty much awesome. My moment goes throughout the entire year...BEAT THAT!
  5. If you guys liked it I might whip up a few more sometime, I just need an inspiring story and a saturday.
  6. Do the music for the demo for free if you want, but don't let them push you around and don't give you money. Those people quitting is just another reason to assume that this might not end up finishing... A lot of these projects fall through. I'd take a small bit of cash for each song that you do (the work is done regardless of if they use it or not) while maintaining the rights to it and with promise of some more money when they make it. Good luck with the negotiations though.
  7. I like the gold coloring and the text looks a little better, but I've always just assumed that this was going to be an embroidered patch, am I right? Because if it's embroidered, then all of those fancy color changes and such wouldn't work. What're those things that look like deku nuts on either sides of the text?
  8. If it's your first keyboard and it's just for note input then it shouldn't make a huge difference overall unless you're a concert pianist or something. I thought not having hammer action would bother me, but it doesn't at all. I wouldn't worry about it.
  9. I still don't really think it's "semi-weighted" to me it just seems like synth action with a keys that look like they aren't hollow. (I have an Axiom 61), so unless you've tried semi-weighted, then don't make that your deciding factor. I would have been just as happy with unweighted keys.
  10. Don't think there's gonna be one, no-one around. But I'm around! and ready to play!
  11. MK II - Couldn't find a great rocket, so I used a shovel. I think I found a pretty nice spy mask, This was just another draft up, let me know what you'd like changed (like having the speaker in the OCR)
  12. This was pretty hilarious, I wonder how she managed to get them all together.
  13. Completely unrelated to this topic, but he said realtime and I couldn't help myself.
  14. I got: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Beyond Good and Evil Audiosurf World of Goo So far I'm really happy with everything.
  15. Generally if you contact a company through support they'll tell you where you should send it instead, or just forward it there themselves. Either way you can't go wrong.
  16. We've got all sorts of new features in this website that represents wars in ancient Japan that ACTUALLY happened! Realtime music playing, and you can download all of their stuff and flip over the bandwidth for MASSIVE DAMAGE!
  17. It really depends on what you're doing, ^ like he said. If you're doing a cheap little arcade or flash-game type thing then you can probably get away with really short, simple, looping techno tracks or something, and you won't need to do very many; this wouldn't take too long to do. If however you're scoring an entire RPG or adventure game on your own that could definitely take up into the timespan of a year.
  18. Talk to zircon, IIRC he released one of his FF remixes (Deliverence of the heart, I love that song) on an album and paid royalties or something. You can usually find him in the IRC, or through PM, or he'll just show up in this topic eventually.
  19. It's Y2.008k!!!!! Run For The Hills! I KNEW IT WOULD BE COMING!
  20. I'm actually getting one done this time!
  21. Space is an issue? Want microkeys? Then the prodikeys are a perfect fit! http://www.prodikeys.com/products/prodikeys/ I have no clue what these are like, but everybody loves rock and roll! Alternatively check out the Oxygen 8 (25 keys) $150
  22. ^ Greatest Movie Eva! (what's going on!? it keeps uncapping my allcaps!)
  23. I'm on it sir *salutes* Did you want the OCR headphones, or can you find a different picture you'd like used? I like this design better than the last one.
  24. *Sigh* Some people don't seem to realize that a specific key (ex: D minor) sounds EXACTLY the same as any other key of the respective type (ex: G minor) just that the notes are raised or lowered to the new pitch. Play a line in D- then play the exact same line in G-, it won't be any less sad/happy or any different at all except that the notes themselves are raised a P4 from the D- one. So what you're really saying is: "Huh? Natural minor keys don't usually sound sad" For this reason, when asking for "which specific chords (or progressions) sound good (ex: A to E to F) < this isn't really the best way to say it. A better way would be (1, P5, +6) because this can be used easily in any key. or if you prefer (1[minor triad] P5 [major triad] +6 [seventh chord]) or whatever the chords are.
  25. I lol'ed, hehe, out of the loop...
