  1. Commence Reminiscing! Where to start. I thought Xtreme-G was one of the coolest games for the N64, simply because of it's soundtrack. I remember seeing the OST in a nintendo power magazine, and I looked EVERYWHERE for it, couldn't find it. I gave up, but would google it now and then. One day in 2004, a link came up to this OCReMix by someone called bLiNd. I can't remember exactly, but I think I crapped my pants. It is one of the most significant remixes I have come across, and it got me Genuinely interested in what this site was about and what it had to offer. To date it is the only Extreme-G OCReMix, something I plan to change.
  2. I was just listening to one of my favorite OverClocked ReMixes and started pondering where I would rank it in my top 10 list of OC ReMixes. Then I wondered if anyone else would put it in their top 10 list. That got me thinking about where the songs would rank if everyone ranked them. That reminded me of the "top 1000 songs of all time" countdown one of the local radio stations did when we rolled into the year 2000. Everyone had the month to vote on the website for their top 10 all time favorite songs, votes were tallied and songs played in reverse order. I'm not suggesting a 72 hour non stop listening party, but assuming OCRY2K doesn't cause the internet to end (maybe OCR2012?) I think it would be a good community event to vote for our top 10 favorite mixes and then tally up all the votes to see which mix is the all time number one favorite. Not only would it be fun, but it would be very honoring to some of the music and artists that have helped take this site to the forefront of the VGM remix scene. In the end, I am really just SUPERDARN CURIOUS about what the number one ReMix would be. Its a bit exciting just to think about! The glory, the eminence! The...the prestige!!! That is if people can even decide on ten favorites... Something to think about. Regardless, I am sure that David and Larry and co. will have something special in store for the release of OCR02000...
  3. You got it analoq, that is how we will roll. I will update the OP now.
  4. make a one shot purchase on ebay. Happy Ripping!
  5. Deal is good for the first 50,000 dls each month, and I think Feb is the last month. Just a heads up to all that this deal is still available.
  6. diotrans, are you talking about Imovie? Like the really good mac video program? And you don't want to edit with it? probably the most shocking thing I have heard all day. I haven't heard a lot, so its no big deal, but still, that is interesting to me.
  7. You can't delete this thread because you are not the owner.
  8. Zipp, I didn't know you owned a film company, but I do now! Cool shots man, I'll look for that flick in the future.
  9. Thanks for expounding on my post and clarifying a bit Zircon, good info. I also have been frustrated with tempo changing in FLStudio. This summer I might explore different DAW's and see what else is out there as all I really know is FL.
  10. Hope to have the last of my shooting done this week.
  11. AMY! Happy Birthday to youuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!
  12. djp snuck his response in while I was making mine soooooo \doublepost. Would participants face off against others using the same DAW? That would level the field...or rather, fields.
  13. I echo Torzelans last statement, that would sure be cool. I doubt it would even need commentary. As for sharing project files; as has been said previously, aside from a specific set of exceptions, this won't be helpful or useful to many people. The best form of project sharing, IMO, would be WAV/MP3s of specific instrument, vocal, or rhythm tracks that could be played with and fit into another project. I am ESPECIALLY interested in vocals; I would totally love to have the vocal lines for Permutation or Kindred to play with for example.
  14. Thanks Brandon; I'm not too concerned if people laugh. I'm pretty sure I chuckled when I listened to it. Brandon said he wanted some screams and I was all set up to do it, so I just did it. If I am not mistaken, that is more than the rest of you lazy farts have done, so get crackin! This man needs some files already! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!!!
  15. Bro I was out on a bit of a road trip for the weekend, finally got the lappy set up. I don't know when I will be on IRC tonight (later most likely) but PM me what is up. I won't sell that KB37 so don't sweat, it's more or less yours.

  16. Once the deadline gets closer, we'll upload our videos somewhere and get on IRC for an online viewing party, so everyone is totally welcome to join!
  17. I'm definitely attempting to get a track or three ready, I shouod have enough time to get something in.
  18. Brandon was quite pleased with my screaming and asked me if I would post a link to the agonzing screams I sent him, so you could have an idea of what he is looking for. If you're stuff is along these lines, he'll be happy. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaugh I was actually rolling around on the ground and writhing. I like to really get into my role, whatever it may be. ASLO (its the new also) I would like to be put on the AVAILABLE FOR COLLAB LIST, for vocals/guitarage/anything related to techno. I am a tenor, and I sing well. Alriiiight.
  19. Enjoying! good link, and much better than others I have seen.
  20. It also wasn't that bad after an hour or so. I was flying drunk for the first level though. ...Unintentional Rhymage.
  21. White Knight Chronicles had me quite interested when I saw the first trailers for it...4 years ago. I was wondering when it would come out, I had more or less forgotten about it. I'd like to at least check it out, bad reviews or not.
  22. This reminds me of the days I used to play Descent on PC using only the keyboard. . .. ... ....I have a headache now.
