  1. Oh god yes! Flamenco guitar strumming intro leading into freaking metal of the Arena? I love it! I smirked so hard when that heavy strumming hit at 0:13. Sixto is the man when it comes to combining high energy with solid guitar work, and damn, this has got to be the tenth time Sixto has left me floored. By far my favorite ReMix of this fantastic album and a perfect cap for the flood. Great work fellas.
  2. Hearing halc take on the quirky evil crystal bat (or whatever he was) of Marx's theme with his style of ReMixing is sweet. Conservative in the melody at most points (with is a plus to me), and of course putting in that chippy spin on it. I think it fits Marx's goofy character in a way. The slower section was cool, and it seems like the three minutes go by in a heartbeat. This is a good song to have on a loop.
  3. This reminds me of Brigg's "Bubble Junkie" ReMix, but it fits Kirby so damn well. So glad to see this album finally get off the ground with such a fun ReMix. Happy, lovable and memorable melody that gets played around with to great results. I love the "entering the door" sound effects you plugged into this one. Very cool.
  4. I have a huge nostolgic smile on my face from the moment the underlying bass kicks in. The slowdown was a sweet break that did make it sound like you just hit space, which is a nice way to go against the cave area this theme is based on, and man, I love how crazy it gets right before and during the chippy section. No other way to say it except that this is wide-grin inducing.
  5. I was actually a fan of the piano work, and having the beats back it up made it all the better. Even more gorgeous than the original and pleasant to listen to. Great track to go along with the others in the album.
  6. Always a good time for some halc 9-bit electronica. Nice and floaty, but with a little bit of a bite to it from the bits. Cool switch-up just after halfway through the ReMix.
  7. That was weird, haha. I love the metal, and to be honest, I'm really getting a good laugh out of the vocals. I'm not knocking them, they just strike me as funny for some reason, and I think that's why I like it. Especially once you get to the "one fish, two fish" part. Fish!
  8. Wonderful, beautiful......just perfect to me on a nostalgic level. I remember hearing the original ending the first time I finished SMRPG, and it was pretty emotional since it was the first RPG I ever played and I thought the music summed up the end well. This brings back those feelings in spades and I have to say that I'll be enjoying this one for a long time.
  9. Light hearted and happy, that's what this ReMix is. The best part of this ReMix to me is the build. It continues to build up, then back down, and even get a little piano bit to it after some bongo drumming. Nice to hear something with a simple cheery feeling in it.
  10. Oh man......Claire and DJ Mystix are quickly becoming my favorite duo on OCR. Claire's vocal ability speaks for itself, and the amount of emotion that you can pick up between her and the music is outstanding. And man, Cammy's melody is the perfect piano break. It just fits in so nicely with the rest of the ReMix. Such a splendid mix of songs......damn, folks, this is awesome.
  11. Wow! Now that is a pretty sweet courtroom-styled rap if I ever heard one! The light jazz tone feels so right underneath the lyrics and is really smooth with the beat. I love it when the Ace Attorney games get some love, especially like this. Nice work from Melody and Det. Tuesday.
  12. Great to see this finally hit the front page. So many props for getting the idea of combining the backing elements of the SNES waterfall with the tune of the GBA waterfall. That was utterly brilliant. I'm being completely honest when I say that this stands right up there with all the other ReMixes from this amazing album. You said the dance beat was a joke at first, but to me, that was part of the charm of this mix. Beautiful music with a great beat makes this my favorite off of disk five.
  13. Don't know why, but whenever I see the word glockenspiel, I chuckle. Not sure why, just entertains me. Kinda like this ReMix does. I like Guifrog description of a romantic Venice during a full-moon night, and I can safely say that it does have effect. So awesome to hear a bit of Italian flavor and beauty thrown in the arrangement of this ReMix.
  14. Sounds like the kind of thing you'd hear while walking through a resort garden, which I guess fits with Rainbow Resort. Very pleasant and easy-going, and nice when you need something a bit classy in your day.
  15. Pretty clear here that you don't need the title to tell you how funky this is. I adore the middle breakdown section with all my heart because it just sounds so damn slick. That slap bass is crazy and like DarkeSword pointed out, it sounds like it would fit right in at home in a Final Fight area (hell, most of this ReMix would). Well done, fella!
  16. 2 Akumas, Gouken, Ken, Ryu, Sakura, a tiny bit of Dan and three JSJ's with one of them being THE DUKE!? Damn, you guys don't mess around. In a way, I'm kinda glad someone finally put the Hado folks themes together in one kick-ass ReMix. And you said "Ryu" right! The section after 3:13 sounded weird, but cool at the same time. I don't think I can really nitpick anything with this ReMix. So recommended.
  17. Combination of acoustic and electric guitar was an amazing choice for this. I wouldn't mind hearing more mellow meets rough ReMixes like this one, especially if it's as powerful and upbeat as this is. Switching back to full acoustic for a few seconds was great for the ending.
  18. So I can tell that 2013 is going to be the year of interesting ReMix titles, but the real story is that finally Wily's music from MM3 gets some love in the form of this continually building show of rock! Good and hard, and to be honest, it really did sound like that solo had a bit of Satch in it, even if a little. Very clean sounding, too. Not bad at all.
  19. Happy belated birthday Flexstyle!
  20. Wow, this is pretty cool. Deia's vocals go very well with the traveling bard/medieval tavern feel that the song was striving for, and OA joining was nice to hear as well. Nice intro and outro with the natural gathering sounds as well. It hit every mark it went for as far as I'm concerned and is certainly one of my favorite songs off the Unsung album.
  21. Ooooh, now this very groovey! Totally fits the smooth feeling I've been having all day. Sounds crisp and clear. This is "cruising down the road at night" music.
  22. Chill and light. I could very well see myself enjoying this on a trip high in the sky. Nice crunchy sounds in this ReMix.
