  1. Hmmm, that was quite the opening! The vocals where great with the robotic make-over, but they're a bit hard to hear because of the music and the way they're done. Not bashing them because I loved the idea and use, but I'm thankful for the lyrics tab at times. Other than that, very exciting and the kick up to dubstep was pretty cool. Great stuff here, fellas!
  2. Really is one of those peaceful, tranquil ReMixes that gets the tone right from the piano. You can feel like your floating in the breeze or resting in the sky with this one. Very nicely done.
  3. Well, when you took on The Extreme, you nailed it down pretty good. I can say that I enjoyed this ReMix and I won't dwell on the little minor things others already picked out. Since fade outs don't bug me all that much, it didn't do so here. Not bad.
  4. Three guitars playing a simple strength of three, with three sources.......this screams triforce in the best of ways, which is a charming idea carried out very well. So relaxing and calming, and the combination of the three different kinds of guitars was fun to hear. Totally diggin' the creativity here.
  5. As much as I hated Sandopolis Zone, I've always loved the music of it, and hearing a hard, dark and gritty ReMix of it is amazing to me. I, myself, have grown to like dubstep, but I like it better when used a less obnoxious way like this is. To me, this is the perfect example of balancing melodic rock and dubstep, so well done.
  6. melody works a piano like no one's business, and it shows even more on this beautifully chill hip-hoppish ReMix. Loved the little sound clips added in relation to the music here. Genius.
  7. Oh, dude, the atmosphere of this ReMix is just completely wonderful! Sounds very airy and natural, so good for chilling out and focusing on work or just drifting off.
  8. Probably one of my favorite ilp0 ReMixes. Has a bit of weirdness to it at times, but shifting between lighter and darker made it work. Good to see a ReMix that varies itself in a way that reaches both sides of the field.
  9. Whoa, lots of blasts from the pasts coming up through here. And a great return ReMix to come back on, with this high energy rockin' chiptune song. Very nice. Drums got to me at first, but then they sorta found their place as the ReMix went on. Lots of positives, hardly any negatives. Cool stuff.
  10. Sixto can do no wrong when it comes to shredding it up with some heavy guitars and great sounding drums. Now this is a final battle theme if I've ever heard one! Great slowdown and amazing work overall.
  11. 1. Ludwig von Koopa (Mario) 2. Arthur (Ghosts'n Goblins) 3. Mike Hagger (Final Fight)
  12. So DJP said anime outro feeling, and after hearing this one, I would have to agree with that. Peppy and lively, with a nice, light beat underneath the the melody. OA does a fantastic job with these kinds of upbeat ReMixes and you just feel warm after listen to ReMixes like this one. Awesome.
  13. Jenny's flute playing is incredible in this ReMix! What a beautiful sound that comes from the acoustic guitar and flute combination. Very emotional and lovely. I really liked this one.
  14. Whenever I hear the game over or password tunes from Mega Man 3, I can't help but think of Brentalfloss's bit, but this is a stand out ReMix on it's own. It's the kind of melody that can give you quite the pick up for the rest of the day. Very good.
  15. So, true story, my little nieces have just gotten into video games because they wanted to play after watching me do it. Wanting to give them an easy start, I let them play Kirby together and they love it. So then I showed them some of the ReMix album tunes afterwards and they both loved that as well. Their favorite song from the album? This one. Halc always does a great job with light, happy chippy tunes, so Bubbly Clouds was great fit. Again, I have to praise the use of SFX in the track, which a lot of ReMixes on this album did well Wonderful stuff.
  16. One of the most complete ReMixes I've heard in a while. Everything has it's place in this arrangement as a plus and I heard nothing wrong in the production either. Great use of vocoded vocals. Loved the combination of metal and electronic elements. Kickass debut, Brent.
  17. Ahh, this is absolutely elegant. Just simply gorgeous. You pull in four great ReMixers, and you know you're going to get an amazing ReMix like this. Good job, fellas.
  18. Lot of gritty pulsating electronica going on in here. Reminds me of some of the classic stuff that were supposed to represent the internet age back in the day. I especially enjoyed the second half starting at 2:12. I really got into it the most after that point. Sweet.
  19. Making trance that doesn't get boring/repetitive or seem like it takes too long to hit a groove is key, and obviously after hearing this, DarkSim has that key. Fantastic, especially the second half where it picks up and then drops into those thick beats. Nice work.
  20. Oooh, so dark and....just, whoa! I love it! Really drives the hammer in for orchestral pieces that utilize piano to perfection. You can just feel the foreboding malice and ominousness grow in this one. God, I just can't stay enough how much I love the piano in this ReMix. Awesome stuff.
  21. Even though I agree that some of the transistions could have been made a little better between the themes throughout this ReMix, I have to say that I liked some of them, particularly when it gets the slower section. For something that you even admitted to have pulled together in about two weeks, not bad at all. Good to hear more Lightening Force on the rise.
  22. That intro.....holy crap man, so good! Now this is what a battle against a powerful enemy is supposed to sound like. And after 1:57 hit, damn! I particularly like how you can hear the guitar getting ready to hit as the music box was winding down instead of just stopping the box and going to guitar. The combination of metallistic guitar playing, rapid drums and even a little ominous music box at the beginning and end, just fantastic! Wonderful debut!
  23. Awesome to hear Willrock take on these themes in an orchestral way, and doing a decent job of it. I must have bad musical ears or something, because the violin doesn't really bother me as much as it seems to others. Meh, honestly, if the violins sound fake here, then I'll take fake violin over the scratchy annoying real things any day. Nice work, Willrock.
  24. Drum and Bass at it's best. Cuts in deep with a whirring grit and yet still manages to have a great arrangement behind it. For it's age, it's held up insanely well and the production is top notch. Damn good stuff, Flexstyle.
  25. Haha, oh man, I'm bouncing back and forth to the claps in this one! Clever lyrics and very natural soundnig vocals, I am diggin' it for sure! What a fun ReMix. Has me grinning from ear to ear.
