  1. Hmm, well, it does have a few moments when I think "okay, that lead is a bit too sharp" and other issues like it, but overall, not bad at all. Great arrangement and I can definitely hear where this was supposed to go (and it got there, which is cool). Nice, funky little piece.
  2. Wow, this is ridiculously catchy! Nice synth work and that soloing was top-notch! It shows its age a bit, and the middle is a bit off-par with the rest of the song, but it's still a great ReMix. Groovy!
  3. Absolutely love the SFX being used in this ReMix. Very true to the original feeling and has a nice catchy beat to it. Could have been a bit longer, but I'm a quality over quantity, and there's enough quality here for me.
  4. Ain't the first time Wiz did this. Here's another one that you can hear plain as day: And the source? Here: And how about this? I really hope I don't have to say which source is used at the very start:
  5. Unbelievable! This is a cool ReMix and it's really interesting. The chiptune techno with different synths working together makes this pretty unique. I thought it felt like a classic, almost like it could have worked on an actual system back then, so I get more of a nostolgic feeling from the tune rather than the music, cause I've yet to play this game myself. Pretty good.
  6. Now this has flavor! This ReMix is a buried treasure for sure and it's got so much to offer in such a different sounding package. The way it goes from smooth and cool to hard-hitting guitars and then the more lively part from 2:50 on and back was awesome! So much Chile soul in this one. If I had to nit-pick, I'd say my only wish was that the guitars were louder in the "Pac-Man!" parts, so that it wasn't overtaken by the singer. Still, this is a beast ReMix.
  7. Uh.....hmm...I normally love jungle and techno, so putting them together seems to be perfect to my ears. However, the beeping parts wasn't my cup of tea. The Middle Eastern sounding bits are great and when the beeping is overtaken by the other instruments, it's excellent. The arrangement was amazing though, and I'm sure that once I get used to the beeps of it, I'll completely love it. Sweet ReMix.
  8. The beginning makes me think more Medieval than Slavic, but then it picks up speed and I totally hear it. I like how it has a nice bit of upbeatness while trying to infuse a bit of that cultural flavor into it. Not fond of the very end, but that's probably cause I'm wearing headphones when I listen to this. It just sounds like it's too sharp with those buzzes, but I'm not all that bothered by that since it's not there for too long. Overall, fantastic work!
  9. Hahaha, I can't believe how many people on other sites still think this is by either SoaD or Weird Al. To be fair, in some places it kinda does sound like SoaD I suppose, but the Weird Al thing, I don't hear it myself. Either way, it's a nice little tune that probably benefitted from the false label anyway by being heard by non-OCR folks, so it's a bit of a win/loss and then win again. The song is great itself and even though it's a bit too short, it's a great little bite sized ReMix.
  10. Very fitting ReMix of the the original, which I can hear. A little bit short, but it's calm and tropical, and overall has a nice sound to it. It doesn't scream "I'm gonna blow you away", but it's pleasent enough that it doesn't have to in order to sound great. Nicely done.
  11. Thank you, Steve. May he rest in peace.
  12. Kefka and Bowser....now that is a team. And that organ......so badass! The piano leading up to it was beautiful as well. I love organ and piano mixes, especially in darker atmospheres like this one, so needless to say this ReMix is down my alley. It's so amazing how the two songs just seem to be made for each other. Going straight into my Halloween playlist right now!
  13. You know, I gotta agree, I'm getting a little bit of a Scooby feeling on this one. Spooky and phunky, great for getting into the spirit of the month. Somewhat bizarre, but pleasing all the same.
  14. Too much energy for porn, but totally funky! The upbeat beats and those delicious wah-wahs make this ReMix from top to bottom. Loved the breakdown near the end and this made my the top ten of my Sonic ReMixes favorites.
  15. Happy Birthday, dude! Pig out on some tasty cake!
  16. Man, that intro was weird as hell, especially with headphones on, but I liked it. It's got a lot of whimsical feelings in it and it just really fits Kirby's world. Love how much variety you put into the ReMix to keep the attention going and still managing to make it come off as a natural sounding song, like it was just meant to be made this way. Brilliant ending as well. Amazing ReMix!
  17. Synthy Organ Metal FTW! The source of Robotnik's theme was always a bit dynamic and such, but the guitars and drums really bring it out here and I love how well it was elaborated. Took me a second listen through to catch Scrap Brain, but once I did, I loved every bit of the ReMix. 3:23 and on up to the ending was my favorite part. Awesome works guys.
  18. It really isn't that bad. At all. For a song that was done at request and live, it has that feel and it works here. Not the best take on the theme, but honestly, there are worse ReMixes of the same theme on the site and for what it is, it's fine. I like it myself.
  19. Cool. I can actually almost imagine as backing music to the game if the game had something other than "wakawakawaka" going on over and over (the only annoying thing about Pac-man it you go at it for as long as I do). Very good expansion on a five second theme. Not a fan of the last ten seconds though. As great as this ReMix is, those last few seconds....essh, a bit harsh.
  20. Very nice. Sounds catchy and has a good melody to it. Not mind blowing my any means, but it still sounds great and has enough quirk to get the feeling across. Few minor issues, but pretty nice all in all.
