  1. Alright, yeah, this sounds downright pretty. The piano bits and light tune makes this fit together and the melody is easy to follow. A bit too happy for me, but it's not ruined by any major problems, so it still works as a good ReMix.
  2. A little trip hop, and it's not bad. I wasn't fond of the voices, but it didn't detract from the ReMix too much on my end. Not amazing, but very good all in all.
  3. Okay, so this was a good song with a nice arrangement, but the samples were a bit weak and the whole thing wasn't overly remarkable. Still, it's got a nice beat and holds your attention long enough to tune out and get work done with headphones on, so well done on that.
  4. Okay, yeah, so it's a bit dated, but it's still got a great beat to it. It's an interesting mix, and it's at least listenable. I will say though that I liked the intro and towards the end when it slowed back down to a bit of a chill.
  5. Impressive! This is a very nice little ReMix that seems to be a few years ahead of its time. Although it's a bit short and could do with a little more expansion, for what it is and when it was made, this is an amazing piece to listen to.
  6. Very fitting for the Halloween season. It's got that spooky arrangement that would be a hit at a local Halloween party. A little too much boom tss for me, but the bells (I adore bells) makes up for it, and it's just so toe-tappingly catchy that the minor age issues don't bother me. So good!
  7. That sonar was so good! Perfect backing for this track, and for such a simple idea, that sonar was probably the cherry on top of this mix. I gotta say, I'm becoming more of a fan of jazz with every ReMix I listen to that has some form of it, and I kinda dig the ambient jazz that lets it switch up the melodies without crashing. It feels like it's meant to bring up images of the sea, and considering the game and source, that's a plus.
  8. Hmm, well, it does have a few moments when I think "okay, that lead is a bit too sharp" and other issues like it, but overall, not bad at all. Great arrangement and I can definitely hear where this was supposed to go (and it got there, which is cool). Nice, funky little piece.
  9. Wow, this is ridiculously catchy! Nice synth work and that soloing was top-notch! It shows its age a bit, and the middle is a bit off-par with the rest of the song, but it's still a great ReMix. Groovy!
  10. Absolutely love the SFX being used in this ReMix. Very true to the original feeling and has a nice catchy beat to it. Could have been a bit longer, but I'm a quality over quantity, and there's enough quality here for me.
  11. Ain't the first time Wiz did this. Here's another one that you can hear plain as day: And the source? Here: And how about this? I really hope I don't have to say which source is used at the very start:
  12. Unbelievable! This is a cool ReMix and it's really interesting. The chiptune techno with different synths working together makes this pretty unique. I thought it felt like a classic, almost like it could have worked on an actual system back then, so I get more of a nostolgic feeling from the tune rather than the music, cause I've yet to play this game myself. Pretty good.
  13. Now this has flavor! This ReMix is a buried treasure for sure and it's got so much to offer in such a different sounding package. The way it goes from smooth and cool to hard-hitting guitars and then the more lively part from 2:50 on and back was awesome! So much Chile soul in this one. If I had to nit-pick, I'd say my only wish was that the guitars were louder in the "Pac-Man!" parts, so that it wasn't overtaken by the singer. Still, this is a beast ReMix.
  14. Uh.....hmm...I normally love jungle and techno, so putting them together seems to be perfect to my ears. However, the beeping parts wasn't my cup of tea. The Middle Eastern sounding bits are great and when the beeping is overtaken by the other instruments, it's excellent. The arrangement was amazing though, and I'm sure that once I get used to the beeps of it, I'll completely love it. Sweet ReMix.
  15. The beginning makes me think more Medieval than Slavic, but then it picks up speed and I totally hear it. I like how it has a nice bit of upbeatness while trying to infuse a bit of that cultural flavor into it. Not fond of the very end, but that's probably cause I'm wearing headphones when I listen to this. It just sounds like it's too sharp with those buzzes, but I'm not all that bothered by that since it's not there for too long. Overall, fantastic work!
  16. Hahaha, I can't believe how many people on other sites still think this is by either SoaD or Weird Al. To be fair, in some places it kinda does sound like SoaD I suppose, but the Weird Al thing, I don't hear it myself. Either way, it's a nice little tune that probably benefitted from the false label anyway by being heard by non-OCR folks, so it's a bit of a win/loss and then win again. The song is great itself and even though it's a bit too short, it's a great little bite sized ReMix.
  17. Very fitting ReMix of the the original, which I can hear. A little bit short, but it's calm and tropical, and overall has a nice sound to it. It doesn't scream "I'm gonna blow you away", but it's pleasent enough that it doesn't have to in order to sound great. Nicely done.
  18. Thank you, Steve. May he rest in peace.
  19. Kefka and Bowser....now that is a team. And that organ......so badass! The piano leading up to it was beautiful as well. I love organ and piano mixes, especially in darker atmospheres like this one, so needless to say this ReMix is down my alley. It's so amazing how the two songs just seem to be made for each other. Going straight into my Halloween playlist right now!
  20. You know, I gotta agree, I'm getting a little bit of a Scooby feeling on this one. Spooky and phunky, great for getting into the spirit of the month. Somewhat bizarre, but pleasing all the same.
  21. Too much energy for porn, but totally funky! The upbeat beats and those delicious wah-wahs make this ReMix from top to bottom. Loved the breakdown near the end and this made my the top ten of my Sonic ReMixes favorites.
