Hello everyone and Welcome to the People's Remix Competition!
The last round of 2022. As a tradition, it's a free round. Like last year there are no source limitations (non VG sources and originals are allowed), even MIDI rips are allowed.

The deadline is Wednesday January 11th 2022 at 10:59 am ThaSauce time (18:00 UTC, 19:00 GMT), check the link for the exact time left. Make sure that the song is uploaded to ThaSauce or that there’s a download link posted in this thread. First I've put the deadline to January 4th but I decided to add another week.
You may enter as many mixes as you like and work with as many people as you like on each mix. You are free to create a second ThaSauce account for that if you use ThaSauce, it's needed to be able to upload a second remix if you use ThaSauce. Of course you can also upload it somewhere else and put a download link in this thread.
Do not make qualitative comments on an entry until the results of the vote have been posted in this thread.
Mixers cannot vote for themselves but if they vote they receive a free first place vote added onto their score (when mutiple songs are submitted which is allowed like last year, the bonus is for every song so it's even more attractive to vote).
The winner of this round may select the source for PRC461, the second round of next season.

I've submitted a track I was working on for a discarded OCR album. It's not totally finished, but it'll do.

I'll let this be my first time joining in on the PRC fun.
Think I'll stick to VG remixes, but put a unique spin on whatever themes / sources I use. Will be my first time conglomerating songs together across a series of games to make 1 song.

Hello everyone and Welcome to the People's Remix Competition!
Time to end 2020 with a free round.
No source limitations (non VG sources and originals are allowed), even MIDI rips are allowed. Remember that it is also allowed to post multiple songs. I don't think ThaSauce can handle with multiple submissions by the same user, but if you want to submit a second song you can post a download link in this thread so I can fix it. I'll limit the number of submssions posted by the same user to 3 (and try to get >1 songs in for this round myself).

I may actually be able to get something small in for this one.

Hey all,
I've decided to quit the project. It's not a decision I made lightly, but unfortunately over the past few weeks the whole thing has started to become more like a burden than anything else. We've had another person quit, which is essentially what made my mind up for me. Since the whole Jeremy Soule revelation there's been a feeling like the whole thing is tainted, and that's become more apparent as people have distanced themselves from it. No artist that I've contacted to do the cover art wants to touch this thing; some of them have specifically stated it's because of the Soule connection. It's becoming depressing.
I'm going to offer up to the project to anyone who wants to take it on. If you're interested drop me a DM and we'll discuss.
I'm sorry to drop this out of the blue, but I feel it's best for my own mental wellbeing to do this.

@theconsoloist I'll dm you about what exactly we should do with this
For public record, I'm double checking with all the collaborators on my track, but so far everyones cool with an OCR submission.

Sad to hear Trism, but your health is always more important. I am still very glad that you invited me, as I had a blast getting back into music again. I even had probably the most fun in a while arranging something.
You can always hit me up for a future project if you chose to!

Gonna echo what @TSori said, this year's been rough enough as it is. If it's just a case of selecting another, less-controversial OST and starting PLT2 over fresh, then so be it. Nobody can fault you for prioritizing your own well being. Hang tight @Trism.
