  1. Too distorted and very static, but better than the previous mix, partly because it has more arrangement. Still far too short. The reversing is cool, but sounds lonely.
  2. I like the marimba (in all of its excessive reverb) and the bassline has potential, but the arrangement is just too short.
  3. Interesting tone, wish there was less piano and more atmosphere, but it's still a remix. I actually like the meandering drums; IMO the issue is with the title theme feeling out of place.
  4. Yay, dark electronic lectures. 1:22 is seriously sick, wow. I imagine this glowing, pulsating core of atoms with electrons of shifting color crazily orbiting. Excellent glitching. Aweosme how it never compromises melody while still remaining dirty. The key changes helped keep it lively. The left-panned rhythm synth was a nice touch in keeping the atmosphere of dread while everything else dances around it. The violin is awesome. Great mix.
  5. Really dreamy stuff at 0:21, great sound design. Also, the train sample is superb. Very laid-back and somewhat surreal, yet the funky solos still feel in place. Great vibes.
  6. I like the energy the percussion loop brings. Not the best samples, but the organ and choir bring a nice atmosphere and the arrangement is good. I like how it sounds really upbeat while still being somewhat mellow (at least compared to other mixes).
  7. Great piano writing, atmosphere is on point. The violin sounds a bit tinny in the mix, but it's minor. Another solid winter mix.
  8. Reminds me a lot of Usa's City in the Clouds album, must be "New Age-ish" sounds. The bittersweet vibe makes it sound a bit like a keyboard demo, but it's definitely a good piece of music. Wish it was a bit longer.
  9. Everything's phased? haven't heard that before. The tone is actually nice for it. The melody synth is static as a statue and I'm not feeling the sample, but it's decent. I like how it feels cold and calm despite being a dance mix.
  10. Really like the image of a small, snow-covered town this brings. Seriously upbeat, yet still with a nice winter atmosphere.
  11. A bit "trancey" for me at first, but it's enjoyable. Love how synthetic 3:27 sounds. The outro was a bit of a letdown for me; after the slowdown I was expecting a groovy halftime or something. Still solid overall.
  12. The 52 second intro is really nice. Love the instrumentation, lots of flair and atmosphere. That synth solo is indeed kickass and the hat/clap complement it really well. The comeback sounded great, I just wish it didn't fade out so fast. Pretty cool mix.
  13. Great sfx to compliment the piano in this mix. Where I am, there's remnants of fall and the weather is gray and gloomy. This mix feels like isolation. Don't really feel like talking about technicalities much, just gonna say this has a great atmosphere and is an awesome remix.
  14. Everything sounds great, especially the drums. Nice slap bass too. it's a solid mix, but I don't really have a lot to say about it. Maybe I've done too many reviews today.
  15. That 0:47 drum loop is something else... the fakeout was cool. I think this might be the dirtiest remix I've ever heard; 2:50 onwards is just ridiculous. The surprisingly calm outro only adds to the mystique. Insane remix, awesome stuff.
  16. Can't really overstate just how funky this is. The organ writing/syncopation is serious and I like the background pads; they are reminiscent of the source's level. I only wish the mix was longer.
  17. Not too big on the clean vocals; the harsh vocals are great though. That sustained scream is seriously demanding. Vocal mixes aren't really my thing, but good work regardless.
  18. Really like the scream at the beginning, lets you know that the metal in this mix is indeed metal. The electronic work is interesting especially at the 1:44 NA2 entrance. From a former metal guy, the screaming is good. Good remix.
  19. How I never got around to reviewing this masterpiece is beyond me. Probably one of my favorite mixes on the site; the mood and evolution is stellar. The tempo shift is great and when the beat comes alive... gorgeous. The flute is perfect. No complaints, an amazing remix.
  20. Really cool, gotta agree with Timaeus on the hats though. Original melodic work is on point. The guitar goes on IMO, but your playing makes up for it. The futuristic atmosphere of Megaman games is also present, which is a big plus. Glad to see MMZ get some good remixing.
  21. How did I never write anything for this?! As someone who played the game, this is a story told with audio and it's just fantastic. Also never realized how old it was, truly exceptional for the early years. Gotta love the mystical atmosphere at 3:55 onwards. Awesome remix.
  22. Man, this is just excellent for this source. Like there's really not much to say except that this mix completely nails it. The whole outro is perfect. As a FFV fan, it's great to see this underrated source get such a fitting remix.
