  1. Change your forum skin in your User CP. There's one called "OverClocked ReMix" that's like the last one. And I find I myself using the default skin again because it's the only one that gets rid of the sidebar.
  2. I was going to, but I couldn't find any pictures that were very distinct. Well...except for this one. "WRYYYYYYY!" I should probably flip that, actually... And to answer your question, Gollgagh, Melty Blood is a fighting game based on the Tsukihime universe. It's very Guilty Gear-like in its fast pace, big combos, spectacular super moves, and unique characters. The sprites aren't as high-res as GG's, but the animation is some of the most fluid you've probably ever seen in a fighter game. EDIT More: Accuracy by volume, baby!
  3. Heh, I was suggesting a similar thing to Arek the other day. Hopefully this'll help the project finally get out the door.
  4. You know, after using the site for the past few months, I still have this nagging question: why paginate the remix lists? I don't think I'm the only user who would rather just have all the remixes for a game on one page. The same applies to the list of games for each letter. I know you've brought up the Chrono Trigger scenario multiple times, but scrolling really isn't that much of an issue at a reasonable desktop resolution. In addition, most people don't mind a little extra scroll-time, as opposed to a potential 2 or 3 extra clicks to get to the mix or game they want. At least set the number of remixes displayed to 50 per page, like with the games list. It's more consistent, and would save us all a lot of clicks in the long run.
  5. Instrumental version for those who are interested. Different, but has its own charms in my opinion.
  6. Any timetable for open source Blu-ray drivers then?
  7. Literally, "it came" or "it's here" I think. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoticon#2channel_style
  8. Hey, just out of curiosity, how well does Half-Life 2 run on your system?
  9. The real reason to not install Vista
  10. I think my main concerns about Vista are the cost and resource consumption, but if my school gives it to me for FREE...well, I might go for it after all.
  11. Glad you had this little epiphany, KWarp. Now explain why it matters? Edit: Wingless is right, it's a good idea to cite your sources *before* you get called out on it.
  12. Definitely go for it. Could definitely use more electronica stuff.
  13. This is why you make sure to be born in a large and rich extended family and have lots and lots of friends. Edit: If you're Chinese, you'll get gypped on the Christmas gifts, but they'll up make for it on Chinese New Year.
  14. Not as ridiculous as buying all 300 carts.
  15. I would say that this qualifies as a TON considering it would take many years to go through all of these great games. 16. Wow, that's quite the chunk of change you're giving. I'd suggest going with GBA Micros. They're $40 at Wal-mart, smaller and brighter than SPs, and the only thing they lose (besides a little bit of screen size) is the ability to play GBC games and *gasp* connect to a GCN!
  17. Why not just play the hammer throw game in Monkey Ball.
  18. Still the best Star Wars guide in my opinion (although this might be colored a little by nostalgia).
  19. All my previous Christmases have been relatively measly in terms of gifts, but this year I got: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 2GB OCZ DDR2-800 160GB SATA Seagate 18x NEC DVD Burner Thermaltake Big Typhoon HSF 650W Antec Coolermaster Centurion 534 RC Pretty much the ideal setup for my PC-using habits. I'll be bumming an old graphics card from a friend. Now I just gotta fill out all the rebates. (Oh, also got an airsoft revolver at a white elephant exchange. Rockin'!)
  20. Actually 11 replies isn't bad. I think we're concentrating more on stuff in the single digits.
