    I'm an asshole because Winter has been "done" for so long and you've never even heard a WIP, you probably won't even like it, after all this time. It's pretty happy sounding from what I remember. :lol:

    All it has needed was acoustic guitars (though at this point I will probably redo the bass guitar too, just so it's current)

    And I actually had started writing on Rumbling way back when, but it was so small that I may as well start from scratch. At any rate anything I make for you now will be better just due to being more familiar with stuff as time goes on.

    All sounds cool so far!

    Some may have noticed this is targeting OCRA now -- no hard feelings if anyone chooses to drop out because of the additional work and stress involved with that. For those that aren't quite there yet but want to give it their all, we can still try to work it out and see if we can get you there. :)

    Welcome back to the Hometown Heroes project, starting up again here in 2016.
    There are existing claims -- if you are one of these remixers, please check in!

    The original concept for this album was to remix town themes from obscure games. However, any town theme from a video game will be acceptable, and optionally you can choose to mix in a hero theme into your mix (to use 2 sources for the mix). This is entirely optional, but will help to see the HomeTOWN HEROES concept a little more. It will be interesting to see how people interpret this, especially with heroes being in stylistically diverse towns. 

    Right now we're in a check-in phase, so currently no deadlines or WIP dates. Please check in, and feel free to make a claim.

    Important final note, we will be targeting an official OCRA release. As such, the quality bar is a little bit higher than it was in the previous incarnation of the project.     Dang fools. 

    The DLC was awesome. Short, but awesome. It brought a handful of new bosses, 3 of which were pretty hard on NG+. I didn't want to make another character at the time just for the DLC and with the recommended level being 60 it seemed like a dumb idea.  So now my main guy is level 166 and his stats are roughly split up like this:

    VIT: 45
    END: 32
    STR: 50
    SKL: 50
    BLD: low as hell, untouched
    ARC: 20

    So here's the main thing, as a level 166 I am clearly out of PVP range, but I kinda want to have an Arcane character. I have a 2nd character that is level 56 or so that is focused on Arcane with around 25 right now. I was wondering how worthwhile it would be to hit 50 arcane or if the soft cap of 25 is good enough, say for my level 166 guy. 

    What I wanted to do was run the Orphan of Cosby Parasite which does only arcane damage, so would I have to have 50 arcane for that for it to be effective? Right now I'm not using any arcane weapons on my lvl 166 guy, but my lvl 56 has the Tonitrus at +7 and it's cool but kinda underwhelming. 

    The Moonlight Holy Sword is also cool but seems kinda meh. That Cosby Parasite seems very very very meh but at least it is interesting. 

    What are your thoughts on this?

    I dropped "I Closed My Eyes" and "A Conclusion" I believe it was because I knew someone else would be able to claim them and deliver on them good before I could.. I was going to focus on Lufia 2 and get those songs done first! But if there's anything left that appeals to me here when I'm able to tackle one, I will be back on board! I'm excited to see what Dan does with "I Closed My Eyes"

    Dark Souls 3

    To prepare for Dark Souls 3, I redownloaded Bloodborne and have been helping some of my newb friends play the game. I don't like that they're using guides and rushing through and all that. It seems cheap compared to how I played the game.But at least 1 of them is getting Dark Souls 3 with me at the midnight launch (digital) so we'll see what happens and if any of thise translates to "gitting gud"

    It still took a bunch of tries to kill Ludwig in their game (DLC). Even though  I was level 166 and scaled down. Man, what a crazy ass boss. Then I shareplayed the guy later and I saw why it took so many tries HAHAHA... He dodge rolled off the map in Research Hall no less than 2 times just during the 10 minutes I shareplay watched him. And he got killed by the exploding book shelf twice

    I am excited to see how my gud will need to be changed for DS3, different play style. I hate using shields though. I (f-wording) hate shields!

    I remember when SD3 started. :) just kidding haha.  I left for a while and came back and then there were like two albums released and I was like what the hell is this? 

    But I didn't pay too much attention cause I wasn't good at music and never played any of the games they made albums for. So when I heard they were working on ff7 that was kind of a big deal, but not enough to get me off my tractor. It'd still be a fair amount of time before I settled into the site,  like some kind of diaper designed to accommodate my girth. 

    Uhh... But yeah SD3 is old. 

    I personally would have just liked to see the music come out instead the very long wait.

    Ok, that's fair enough. Unfortunate situation. I know how... shitty... it is to live in unstable housing.

    I made the mistake of not subscribing to this thread because I guess I'm still getting used to how these forums work, so I didn't get a notification of response, thus the delay. HOWEVER! If you could PM me with the information for a new thread (such as the tracklist, existing claims, etc) That would be great. We can get a new thread going so you won't have to worry about keeping one updated, especially if you don't have access to it, and you will be able to focus on more important things IRL.

    Step 1 will be putting up the new thread, step 2 will be seeing where the involved remixers are... then I guess things will go from there :)

    Quite indeedidly, I would be glad if you did Breezy! :) However, I ask that you please finish previous secret and non-secret works first :)

    Wait, you were going to sing on yours?? But you sing like a sphincter.. OK you lose your claim too!! >:( 

    I kid, actually I should have just accepted Cyril's claim, even if he sings himself, haha. Bit of a turd move. I'm sure he wasn't gonna recruit someone who sings like a pony or something like that. All high pitched and cartoony voiced.. 

    If you want the claim of "Where I Belong" you can have it Cyril let me know. But if you turn it into an Aladdin "I can show you the world" featuring Ponies figuring out where they belong then I dunno man........ I just don't know........

    A little hesitation due to the vocal thing, however if she's really good it would be OK. I hope you don't mind if I check out some samples of her singing first? I know you're a capable remixer but I don't know who it is you are planning to collab with and it is being presented as a big part of the song. 

    NP on being late, but check back more often! What do we have to do, put ponies on the site? :lol:
