There are no official covers aside from the bracket badges. When 2010 ended I shopped around for an artist to do some art for some kind of official release, but I didn't get much response, and didn't find anyone who drew in a style that I liked. I really want someone who can draw the Robot Masters in that classic, old-school anime style that you see in official art for the first six Mega Man games, like the art for the Complete Works PSX remakes.

Yeah. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it feels weird for something that is seemingly just a model-swap for the regular rocket launcher.

The Original is kind of weird. The view model sits dead center (as it should), but the rockets randomly fire from different sides of the screen. I'm used to rockets coming from the right side. Cool sounds though.

The whole things sounds pretty lacking in low frequencies. I can hear the bassline but the percussion sounds really thin and exposed, especially that snare.. Not feeling the vanilla synths either. Piano and string stuff is nice but this needs more foundation. Drums are really killing this piece, IMO, they sound so out of place. NO (resub)

Well, ladies and gentlemen, this year's Grand Robot Master Remix Battle has come to a close with WillRock coming out ahead in the final battle. Congratulations to both him and prophetik for making it all the way to the finals, and to all of the competitors for consistently putting out some awesome tracks every week. I'm going to take a couple of weeks off before I start my next competition. Grand Maverick Remix Battle will be pushed off a bit to make room for what I have planned for the fall. It's a bit of a different format and may possibly yield less music overall, but I think it'll be really fun for a lot of people. Rest assured, I will be doing another GMRB; if not this year, then very early next year (think January).
