  1. So Gollgagh do we have to post this tune in every thread you post in now or what
  2. You best treat it with the respect it deserves That is to say, reverence and submission to the will the Master communicates to you through the song when it is looped for two hours.
  3. This theme on loop is the best thing to happen to music so far this decade.
  4. I once envisioned a death metal rendition of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney's "Objection!" theme, with two vocalist and solo guitarist duos debating as they would in one of the cases. I thought it would be pretty damn funny.
  5. That... Is actually a legitimately cool idea. Reminds me of that stupid DSi ghost game, but I'm sure some better use could evolve from it. Just a little bonus, like a Lens of Truth sort of thing.
  6. I thought this was a joke at first, because I figured no self-respecting company would release something written so poorly. But lo and behold, it's real. At this point, this isn't just me being a grammar nazi, this is sad.
  7. I think it's a lot of fun once you actually get into a game (which is no small feat, I waited like 35 minutes last time). You really have to go into the key binds and figure out what's-what though, as there's no tutorial or anything and it just kinda throws you into the fray.
  8. Huh. Usually when these threads pop up there's little to no similarity and ridicule ensues... But there's certainly no doubt there's some strong similarities between these. Whether it's a connection or a shared source sound of some sort, or whether it's just coincidence or composers ripping off composers... I've no idea.
  9. You do seem to have horrible luck with this game. Maybe you should write a personal apology to Valve clearing your name of all wrongdoings so they will stop secretly wiping your stats.

    Bioshock 2

I always hate to necro from the depths like this, but Bioshock 2 is available for pre-order on Steam now for $45. It includes a free copy of Bioshock (complete with Steam's gift-to-friends-if-you-already-have-it gig). There's also a 4-pack available, which comes to $34 each. Too bad it doesn't come out for another 3 weeks...
  11. Too far! Going to one of the shows in CA, though. SA + Powerglove sounds like an awesome time.
  12. I support the OCR vs Bad Dudes notion. It sounds a lot more entertaining! Also showing support for Phoenix Wright vs Godot/Gant/Dahlia. All good themes to pick from.
  13. I figure this sale is stocking up on all the games I'm gonna be playing for the next... uh... FOREVER. I got about 25 games at an average of under $5 each. Can't complain about that.
  14. Thread title made me lol. Congrats (on the daughter, not the lols)!
  15. If you've never played any of the others, I'd recommend skipping it. I only played through it because I'm a fan of the series and it wasn't very good. You can spend that $10 on a PC copy of SH2, though - that'd be a good investment. I wish the duplicate game gifting worked for all Steam games instead of just select few. I know it's like this to prevent people from abusing the system, but it kinda sucks for those of us who don't plan on abuse.
  16. +1 for this. The game looks absolutely ridiculous and I was hesitant to play it at all when invited by my friends, but it's quite fun. And yes, the AI does cheat.
  17. TBH the Silent Hill franchise hasn't been all that great recently (I don't mean musically), so I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Yamaoka take on a new game/franchise. Preferably a really good one.
  18. I think a couple of the puzzles had to be altered due to how the new SS3 engine works, but everything else is supposed to be the same. Also: released! It's a 969mb download.
  19. Released tomorrow, in case anyone didn't catch that implication from the "pre-order ends in 17 hours" bit. I'm looking forward to it; though The Second Encounter was superior I'm just as eager to play this one.
  20. New update says they fixed achievements disappearing. Everyone should be back in the game.
  21. Over the last couple weeks I've finished working with Danimal Cannon and Fishy to create Rygar Medley and Omnislash (respectively). I also finally finished the daunting task of re-charting and adding drums to virt's Crystal Flash - I think it turned out well! If you're interested you can see the videos linked in the first post. For those that missed this the first time or forgot but are still interested in the plastic-ization of their songs, contact me on aim or let me know here!
  22. Well it's out now. Best of luck getting Steam to cooperate for the next few hours!
  23. I tried playing the Japanese version of the game but didn't get very far. I don't really want to whet my appetite for this game again until it's out in English.
  24. If you play as Louis nobody can complain when you take pills even if you don't need them. As for character creation, I tend to go female for a couple reasons. First is most games I play have male protagonists, so it's nice to mix it up. Second is because of all the hawt pixel-woman action that I usually deny paying any attention to.
  25. I think the witches only wander during the day. In one of the three interviews that were just put up on the blog one of the devs say "the witches wander around during the day," which implies they won't during the night.
