  1. I bought the Japanese version while I was abroad, and it's quite lovely. Unfortunately it's currently been supplanted by Yggdra Union
  2. You could say 異議あり! instead. As for real life... I slapped a desk nearby once and blurted out objection, too. Seems to be a pandemic. Anything else...I find myself saying "muda da!", "wryyyy" and parts of the "...miserable little pile of secrets" conversation every now and then.
  3. Again I am confronted by your obnoxious habit of not giving specific examples of what you are referring to. If Eyes on Me and Melodies of Life (also composed by Uematsu) aren't what you mean, then point us at specific examples of what you're talking about.
  4. False. It (Eyes on Me) was written by Uematsu.
  5. Coop took the words right outta my mouth.
  6. I got an iPod Shuffle for Christmas and now i'm in the process of downloading iTunes so I can put music on it to listen to. Is there anything in particular I should know before getting started? It tells me I have to "sync" my music to iTunes. I'm curious as to what that actually entails.
  7. And only truly dedicated OCR-fans will have the know-how to JOIN THE FORUMS! TEST YOUR STRENGTH AGAINST THE FEARSOME CONFIRMATION QUESTION
  8. where is America btw? north of Siberia? Your sig makes me feel fuzzy inside. I like it.
  9. Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Ramadan!
  10. Might I suggest Sticky-ing this so those of us who surf at odd hours can contact mods [ie: I rarely get on before 1am CST-4am CST] when nobody is online? I second this. It would be mad helpful for all the new members as well.
  11. My girlfriend's brother works for Orson Scott Card. Helps him organize his CDs occasionally and gets to take home any dupes. But yeah, Ender's Game, and then Ender's Shadow. If you're really up for it after that, go for Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind.
  12. Facebook is helping me keep in touch with my friends from Japan now.
  13. At a number of point through the movie, they both say that they're on a mission from god, as they are trying to raise money to save the catholic orphanage they grew-up in. So they drive a car through a mall and get arrested?
  14. As one who hasn't seen the Blues Bros in it's entirety, I think I'm missing the God reference too.
  15. How the damn did I not know about this?
