  1. I became aware of your work for the first time because of PRC in the mid-2000s. I became aware of a lot of people's work because of PRC in the early years. I'm very sad to see PRC go. But I can hardly say I'm surprised. The community isn't the same that it was in those early years from the early 2000s through maybe the early to mid 2010s (and maybe a lot of it is due to the change in the nature and structure of the internet itself from those years). Thanks for all of the great music over the years, everyone!!
  2. Another banger from Neon X! I love the way you melded the two songs together so seamlessly. Keep these great remixes coming!
  3. Good luck on your submission! My 12 year old son absolutely loves MSM (and has for a good 9 years), and the remix met with his approval! One thing that may make it hard getting past the judges' panel is the short length. If they reject it, you may want to look into how you can extend it without simply making it repetitive (in addition to addressing any other concerns that they have).
  4. OMG keep these SaGa Frontier remixes coming! I've been in love with this game for 25 years! This is definitely one of the more memorable tracks from a game filled with great music, and this glitchy, low-fi ambient chill remix is a very original take that also manages to be in the same spirit of the original. Well done!
  5. This one's really good. I wasn't really expecting Super Metroid's Red Soil Area version of Brinstar to transition so well into OG Metroid's Brinstar, but here we are!
  6. Holy cow, I can't believe this one is finally on the front page. I've had it in my iTunes library since 2008, and I just thought it wasn't ever going to get posted, but sooooo glad that it is!
  7. Holy cow, the compo this song is from is almost six years old?? This was one of the stronger entries in the competition, and definitely glad to see it posted, but damn, I didn't think it was that old!
  8. My five year old stumbled on TerminalMontage's YouTube channel and I've gotten a lot more into it than my kids. How he skewers speedrunning is just hilarious.
  9. Nice, finally got one posted! I've been listening to the WIP posts and liking what I've been hearing. Keep them coming!
  10. Amazing work with that Banshee Boardwalk one taking something that was mostly ambiance and turning into this!
  11. Great remix! Love anything from SaGa Frontier, and even though this isn't one of my top choices from the soundtrack, it's still a really fun remix to listen to!
  12. The issue isn't whether the technology exists. It's that there's insufficient demand to warrant mass scale development and deployment of such a format. With streaming being the predominant option nowadays, there's little incentive for companies to adopt a successor format to Blu-Ray since they're unlikely to see much of a return on their investments.
  13. False. This one is sublime. Definitely one of the best ones ever posted on OCR. Glad to see MkVaffe still remixing VGM after all these years. Hope to hear more of this great stuff!
  14. damn, I was out of town all weekend and didn't realize I missed the voting deadline
  15. Thank you so much for picking this theme. I love all the NES Godzilla songs, and Saturn is right up there near the top spot (along with Jupiter and maybe Pluto). Excited to hear some remixes!!
  16. So many to choose from, but the one that I still listen to the most today is Super Mario RPG Window to the Stars.
  17. @PrievertThis has been in one of my regular playlists in one form or another for the past 19 1/2 years. The song is great.
  18. Gundam Wing Endless Duel is an amazing game with an amazing soundtrack that doesn't get nearly enough love because it wasn't officially released outside Japan. Excellent work with this remix!
  19. I really like this a lot. I don't have much technical experience, so I can't really give you feedback on that front, but I'll be watching the thread for when a download link is available EDIT: Looks like Timaeus replied already, and he always gives solid advice!
  20. I knew your name sounded familiar, and sure enough, I have some old remixes of yours from 2004 and 2005! I can't really offer much in the way of technical feedback, but this remix is a definite improvement over your earlier work I've heard. See if you can get one of the workshop moderators to provide some feedback, because it's certainly worth preparing for submission!
  21. I still have a bunch of those stickers from Blockbuster that I made from screenshots I took in-game form the original. Very excited to play this new one with my kids.
  22. Wow, it's weird to see this posted after so long. I vividly remember this being in the WIP forums, and I think I have 2 or 3 WIP versions on my hard drive. This one is definitely the most polished, and I'm glad to see it on the front page finally!
  23. Sounds fine, but I also wouldn't be opposed to going back to "remix.overclocked.org", either
  24. Oh man, I really hope someone does something from NES Godzilla!!
