I am tired of live action remakes in general... but cowboy bebop the cowboy bebop universe sort of reminds me of the firefly universe... so it might not be all bad.

One of my all time favourite soundtracks, some songs already sound like the best interpretations I've heard of the source material (including material not yet covered!) Super-boner-excited for this. I didn't see a release date anywhere?

Hey just want to mention that I am working on my track but in addition to picking up extra shifts and being kidnapped for a couple days I came down with the flu... so... yeah... give me another week before I'm further wip-ready plz. Much appreciated, not dead yet.

Umihara Kawase and Sutte Hakkun for the SNES are two of my proudest finds. Sutte Hakkun is a Nintendo original that I guess they figured wouldn't sell here but it's way better than half of the stuff they DID bring over. It'll be a pain in the ass to figure out the menus in Japanese but it's an platforming puzzle game so it's not pivotal to the story or anything. and Umihara Kawase is a really really random platformer with Ninja 5-0, Bionic Commando, Worms ninja rope style physics. Very very very addictive.

Really? Damn. The second I saw Sam L.'s face I knew it was gonna suck but I was hoping one of the more interesting LOOKING films could have at least held it's own. Looks like Imdb gave a 5.8, RT a 17% with an average rating of 3.7... so I know it's not just you. Can you, or others, be a little bit more specific than 'it sucks' though?

Meh, if they all hate to paint things just tell them to bring a DS. It is a college after all, you will be in youthful gamer company. Also, I did a trial recording with the sound recorder... it picks up the line out from my lappy pretty well. So short of my new recorder going missing, or the mixing board (being rented today) not having a 1/4 inch out, I will have media for you all. My roommate should be taking video, and there's always around 100 pictures floating around facebook. Oh, and I'll be wearing my black OCR shirt.

Well it looks like the mp3 player world is straying from line-in ports. FUCK that. Anyway, I snagged a neat little voice recorder... it was the only portable electronic device in two stores WITH a line-in. At it's highest quality, it can record stereo at 128kbps for 8 hours... so that should do the trick. Global-Trance; I got your mashups; I sent you a pm about them. Skrypnyk, your friends? Hey guys, coming up this Friday. Rayza? Skrypnyk? Was that a maybe? A yes? I can find you room to crash if you need it. Anyone else have exclusive WIPs that might do well in a set like this? I can still feature a track or two (maybe) if they really want and it's not total shit. In other news, I was worried I wasn't going to get any media since borrowing a second laptop was proving to be a bad idea. But I'm buying a new MP3 player expressly for capturing the concert... so unless things explode or something... it's pretty much definite.
