  1. I would like to feature you on my album, so I get to do less work. This is pretty cool and the style I'm going for right now. I'll leave you last.fm comments about it.
  2. Yes, please submit stuff! it's a fun label to release on if I make more upbeat stuff I'll submit again
  3. So you have a song that doesn't hurt the ears and has a chord progression and a good melody... How is this your first fucking song? Mine was like a minute and a half and just had 4 on the floor, a guy saying "bass bass bass bass" over and over again with 1-bar random synth notes. And of course no regard for safe volume. It took me 3 or so years to get to a point where I could make something like this. Where are the WIPs you felt "weren't good enough to share?"
  4. More like Have No Talent j/k the strings they are purty. I like this, it's kind of like a heavy mix of Blisaed and Xerxes :3 Heavy on the filter automation as usual too
  5. That happened with an old CRT monitor of mine. The screen would flash blue some days, yellow other days, and red on some more days Try checking the connection to the computer. It may be loose, which is what the problem with my monitor was. Those screws don't hold the thing in forever!
  6. MIDI cables don't transmit audio, just note/velocity/misc. function data. You'll need an audio cable going into the line-in on your soundcard. You can utilize the sounds from your keyboard onto your sequencer in a few ways: -Sample the Trinity's patches separately and use them as one-shot samples -play+record the whole tune or whole phrases alongside what you've sequenced so far. -hook up all the midi and have the midi OUT data from your sequencer going to your Trinity. The Trinity should play the outgoing midi data back through your audio cable into your sequencer. I think. I've tried this with a few synths and it's complicated to set up properly :[
  7. Too much free time? I need to choose a different comic to edit.
  8. No, GoatTracker is for SID only. The only options for NSF are FamiTracker, MML, and a s3m-to-nsf conversion tool, which isn't hosted anywhere right now as far as I know. I'll see if I can get the link for that util from reduz!
  9. New multi-artist kahvi release [again!]
  10. Beatbattle's results are in! I totally nailed it. I kicked a whole two asses. http://www.renoise.com/beatbattle5/ranking.php You can download all the songs in .ogg format. I would recommend downloading in ranking order until you get to the progressively shittier music. Or you could get them all, whatever
  11. After I stopped using FL I had to change this too - I found that you just need to ctrl-click whatever you had selected before to [obviously] deselect it. It's not a very complete list, really, but in this day and age I shouldn't expect people to include trackers in their big lists
  12. Frankly I'm confused! It works for me so it should theoretically work for everyone else. Uh.... did you clear your cache?
  13. Well, they're retards [or FORUNERS!!!!1] also there was a link to the dictionary.com page
  14. I kind of miss "longevous" but I never figured out why you changed "longevous" to "lasting"
  15. Laggy? I have an old keyboard going through a DIN5->PS/2 adapter and it's nowhere near laggy. Something's wrong with your shit
  16. lol nope! the typing keyboard is good enough for note input with these. The devs probably could've added midi keyboard support if they wanted, but sound accuracy is probably more important to them
  17. Hello! I think this should be open to all emulated console formats like nsf/spc/vgm/sid since there's a way to make all of those, plus you'll probably want to listen to me because I will be the only one capable of participating, unless you talk RushJet1 into it. So there's like, 2 people! Also, everyone here except for me uses FruityLoops or Cubase, they can't write chiptunes.
  18. He fucking stole my idea, that I thought of this morning but I was going to cover "Internet Dream" instead.
  19. lol, sample CDs http://samples.kb6.de/downloads.php here are some popular sampled drum machines, I posted this in the sounds thread [whichever one that was]. Most of them are just fine, but you really only need the 808s, man!
  20. Seriously? Here's a castanet oneshot http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=check_download&ufid=0ACBB8CA60DCE059&key=2ac6602ec5df854bca449494679f25a0d913f5f4 you can slice out the last click and make two samples, since a castanet isn't really that varied.
  21. ansi037) ] rebirth [02.9 MB | 03:06] it doesn't have to be complicated. simple, sweet, direct in its obliqueness - 'rebirth'.

Maybe some of you don't know kaneel's style. Well, it's chilled out idm glitch. If you don't know what that means, try downloading it and listening!
  23. Well, the first two movies are done by different people than the TV shows and the third movie, and are almost completely different from one another. You can watch the movies and the TV series completely independent of each other. I would recommend watching everything. And then reading the manga and finding out how Motoko was really supposed to act also, lesbians
