Hello all! Been coming here for years lurking about and finally decided to get back into music after finding some 7 year old mixes on a USB drive Whipped this together pretty quickly and it's a fair bit conservative but I like making the old songs that are more like a remaster with few liberties. Always liked the end music of Mario 2 so I chose that one to get my feet wet again! Feedback always welcome!!! Edit: I did the pads in the intro and bass with drums/percussion throughout. Left the main melody but slowed the tempo to something where I liked it Kinda simple for this place but hopefully still ok

Here's a little duet I did with myself. Most of it is improvised on the spot, everything besides the harmony and theme of course. I'm not so sure about the audio quality. Hey everyone! I just completed this solo piano arrangement of "Flowers Blooming in the Church" from Final Fantasy VII and I thought you guys might enjoy it. I had seen a handful of piano arrangements of this piece, but overall this version of Aerith's theme doesn't get the attention it deserves. For my arrangement, I really wanted to push that tragic and expressive side of this piece, while staying true to the original tune. Here's my remix of Level 3-2 from Turrican 1. I've been listening a lot to the original track the last few days and I couldn't get it out of my head. I had to create a remix... I wasn't sure with my choice of instruments at first but I'm really happy how they sound now (after some tweaks and library surfing). I tried to recreate the original bass instrument sound but this is as close as I got and I think it fits in very well into the general style of the remix. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this remix: Btw. Hey guys! It's been ages since I've posted here, mainly because I haven't worked on a remix in quite a while. I'm happy to say that's changed today! I just finished a remix of Aquatic Ruin Zone from Sonic 2! Now, keep in mind this is a very conservative remix with some parts that are identical to the original, but I extended certain bars and added a little bit of a twist as the song progresses (and then repeats a couple of times). The reason is because this at first was just going to be a complete remake. And it was originally created entirely by ear, every drum hit and every note. This was not a midi rip. Eventually I got a little bit more creative with it, and the result is what you hear now - a very conservative remix with some moderate additions that I think make for a very nice, nostalgic, yet updated version of the song. I realize because of how similar it is to the original version, it cannot be submitted. That's ok. Some day I'll make a wacky and different enough remix where I can feel it's worth of submitting. I present to you my latest creation, it comes straight from the depths of hell I used three different guitar synths to get the sound right, my goal was to match the tone of the original midi video game music as closely as possible, within reason. I know that the guitars doesn't sound all too realistic, but I still think the track sounds pretty good, have a listen and see for yourselves. -

Hey everyone. I recently completed work on a short medley from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening centering around Mabe Village, Inside the Houses and Richard's VIlla. This game has always been near and dear to my heart, so I wanted to put my own take on some of my favorite tunes from the game. I'm using this video as the starting point for a 3 part series of medley arrangements featuring music from Link's Awakening. Hope you guys enjoy this and have a wonderful weekend.
