Hausdog
I can appreciate that it's good, but it's not my style.

marcyt
I love this! The instrumentation is very strong--I especially like the use of the timpani. I couldn't just listen once the first time, this is a remix that needs to be replayed several times to catch all the nuances. It will probably take many listens to really get it. Fantastic debut! Kingmaster74
This was a beautiful piece of music. I especially liked 4:00, because the clarinets give it a dark feeling. One of the best Zelda pieces out there.

Monobrow
!!! Long is skilld I hear he skilld I've listened to this song many times, and I've always been impressed by the choices you make with the theme, especially with the percussion. It really encompasses what is expressed through your title choice as well. Awesome, crazu songu, especially the finale.
DrumUltimA
way to go long! awesome stuff as usual, i love the way the music winds about. it's like i'm running through a magical forest... :}}}
anosou
Long's the man. This is one of the most enjoyable and interesting orchestrations I've heard in a long time and I'm picky Moar plz!
OceansAndrew
Completely awe-inspiring interpretation. It is completely dynamic and exciting throughout, and the subtle (at at times not-so-subtle) tempo changes really give it a sense of life. Balance is wonderful, and the textures are varied for each section. Completely captivating from start to finish. There's not much else for me to say besides stellar work. This is the best spade I've heard in a long time.

Hausdog
Whoa. I just realized how unimpressed I sounded in my first post. I want to hear more stuff from you. Is that better?
derako
I like this piece. (keep in mind I'm a perfectionist) I'm assuming that EWQL was used or it sure sounded like it. I heard the brass in certain places sound kinda (machine gun'ish) at times. With EWQL you should use RR or Round Robin staccato samples to improve that in future arrangements. Other than that it's an awesome rendition of a great theme. Very nice job indeed -Derek-
Nutritious
Beautiful music here and great arrangment and development of themes. Funny thing is, I recently started a Dark World orchestral arragement myself. Needless to say, it's now officially scrapped . I really would've liked to hear this song to full-bore on the main Dark World theme, but despite that, it's still a very pleasing arrangement. The Death Mountain section really brought back memories of the first time I reached that point in the game (yeah, the rabbit part). Pieces that bring back this kind of nostalga are my favorite listens. Well done.
Rambo
It didn't take long for me to start loving this song. The atmosphere it delivers is absolutely incredible. Great work, hope to hear more soon. Man I love this song.
Joseph Collins
Grab yer ten-gallon hat an' ride on in to town with this rip-snortin' good remix of two of th' Dark World themes from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, pardner! Yeehaw!! Okay, but seriously. This sounds like something out of a Western movie. And incidently, I highly approve of that concept. It's a very pretty song with both calm and exciting parts to it. Well done!
Platonist
yehaa, ive always loved this sourcetune! and finally there's another worthy remix of it! first time i hear anything from Long .. hopefully not the last!
LuckyXIII
I really like the use of the Death Mountain Dark World theme and not just the "regular" Dark World theme; it's not one oft-used. Definitely a five star mix on my playlist.

eppy
If this song had a gender, I'd merry it, rape it, tap that twice around down town, and then loop her in my infinity of halfway 8 loop. Long Dao. Great? Or Greatest? Personally, I'd choose the latter. Long Dao is the greatest InbeforeIBFT.
senseiireland
Is that the Castlevania 2 ending them I hear at 4:00?
Martin Penwald
Great stuff. I like how the themes were arranged, and the way the mix picks up speed and energy in the second half is wonderful. Especially digging the section from 4:17 on. Very powerful ending starting at 5:42. My only gripe is that the section starting at 4:47 is much, much too short. I'd have liked to hear more of that. polar-
Well-made piece, though it's a little too interpreted for my taste at some points. I'm probably going to get shot for this, but i actually hate it when someone change the main melody with the classic "take-the-last-tone-and-bump-it-up-one-note" formula. The later interpretations of the melody was great though. Overall, very high quality stuff!
