anosou Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Thats what I'm thinking. It would be funny if he is just lurking around the forums somewhere...waiting. Or submitting a lot of remixes and getting rejected or even worse, getting accepted
EdgeCrusher Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Everyone knows that Gary was Andy Kaufman.
KyleJCrb Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Everyone knows that Gary was Andy Kaufman. I thought he was Jake Kaufman. Just like everyone else.
Kenobio Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Having been unplugged, GrayLightning is now living in REALITY.
EdgeCrusher Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I thought he was Jake Kaufman. Just like everyone else. But he is not "bad men".
Kizyr Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 What vaguely concerns me at this point is that from a medical standpoint, it's actually very common to see these kinds of situations when people develop very VERY deep depression. That's what concerns me, also... Sudden behavior changes are generally not a good sign. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions, but it's not unreasonable to be at least a little concerned that something might've happened. prot = virt = gray = djp = shnabubula = wingless = mustin If DJP = The Wingless, then I don't know what to believe anymore. KF
The Author Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 prot = virt = gray = djp = shnabubula = wingless = mustin = eccles = claire There... In fact: {Any member of OCR other than you} = Digital Justice Project = Eccles = Claire.
Triad Orion Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 All shall become Claire if it isn't already?
The wingless Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 If DJP = The Wingless, then I don't know what to believe anymore. KF You'll notice DJP and Wingless are never seen in the same room posting in threads together...
Argle Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I was thinking about Gray the other day. A couple years ago an artist who was very influential on me utterly disappeared from the internet, just like Gray. Utterly. It's rather worrying, I hope nothing bad happened to either of them.
Incronaut Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I, too, heard that Gray possibly may not even have been a real person, but a musical spirit within the forum, inspiring us with the arts of the other world...
The Author Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 You'll notice DJP and Wingless are never seen in the same room posting in threads together... I've also never seen you with Paris Hilton. Hmmm...
DarkeSword Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Silly boy. Everyone is the same person. We are all Eccles. It's true. I recently recorded this great new live remix at a real English pub with my totally real girlfriend.
The Author Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 It's true. I recently recorded this great new live remix at a real English pub with my totally real girlfriend. For all we know you are a girl, such is the nature of the internet. You gotta trust people.
atmuh Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 that would be true if he didnt go to meetups
bladiator Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I remember I had totally talked him into meeting up with me one time when I visited out in Cali, and then my gf of the time got all pissy because I was making these plans that she didn't like, and then I just said the hell with it all, and then she broke up with painfully shortly thereafter and I'll never forgive her because I didn't get to meet Gray. :'( But seriously, if he wasn't fer real, then who collab'd with me on that one remix? P.S. I'm still mad about that chick out in Cali.
DCT Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 But seriously, if he wasn't fer real, then who collab'd with me on that one remix? Oh, that was me.

The Author Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 that would be true if he didnt go to meetups She's a transvestite, ok? Some people, like DS, just feel more comfortable wearing the other gender's soft, comfortable clothes...
bladiator Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 yes exactly, who did that work for us!also HEY, i still bought you coffee when you got lost! LOL, that you did. Good times. That was the highlight of that trip. How sad is that? Oh, and I still remember the funniest thing that GL ever told me on AIM. I tell the story still to real life friends. Me: So, where did you come with your username? GL: My real name is Gray Alexander. Me: Holy crap, that's an awesome name! Where did your parents come up with that? GL: Well, they were hippies, so I'm just glad that I wasn't named "Wednesday". Man, good times. Good good times.

The Legendary Zoltan Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 My parents were hippies too, but I got named Jahan Zoltan (?). So NOBODY'S ever met Gray Lightning in person? He's never come to one of those meet ups or to MAGAZINE FEST? He gave me some brutal advice once It was something along the lines of "This slap bass rocks, but can't you sing this thing in key?" Hahaha. But for me, since I didn't really know him, what stood out most about him was his avatar. It was a picture of a Japanese girl that looked a heck of a lot like Ayumi Hamasaki. Maybe it was her.
zykO Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 he immortalized something i once said about him by using it as his sig quote for a long while: "Anybody who has a problem with GrayLightning has a problem with themselves." Don't know what happened to the fucker but he was one of my closest friends and yes, it is very weird how he just POOF
atmuh Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 hes probably reading this thread and laughing
The Vagrance Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 I think he told me that too...I guess he reuses his material. That settles it: he's a robot.
