Barnsalot Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Very impressive. I'm looking forward to it. Quote
K.B. Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Hey! Screenshots were added! Awesome work OA and company. Wish I could have helped, but that turned out awesome so you didn't need me after all! And yes, bated breath for the release. Quote
ZealPath Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 No doubt in my mind that this is instantly going to become my favorite OCR album after the first listen. For someone like me who grew up with FF4, this will be nothing short of epic. Quote
SwordBreaker Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 EPIC. All those tracks sound awesome! This album is a lot cooler than I expected. Great work, everyone. Fabul Men's Choir FTW! Hopefully I'm still part of that. Quote
The Pezman Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 FUCK YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH! A true inspiration for me to get my mixing act together. Quote
Skummel Maske Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Wow, I loved this preview, both the presentation and the music. I'm really looking forward to this release. Quote
XZero Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Excellent work! The preview is really cool, and the music sounds so professional. I can't wait for the release! Quote
Level 99 Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 hooray for ff4! and 1308! 1308...wasn't that a crappy Stephen King novel...that turned into a crappy movie? Well, no matter. My new years resolution now is to rewind time and go through it all over again. Avaris, OA, AudioFidelity, and Prophet: you all are my brothers. Little girls dancing to the porn groove FTW...so wrong.... Great presentation, as well. You all had a great composure and told a lot about how we feel emotionally towards the project. Quote
Bahamut Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 This project sounds awesome - I can't wait to hear it when it's out, as you guys started at about the same time Taucer and I started our project and you guys look to finish before us & maintain such a high quality, which impresses me greatly. It also seems to have such a nice flow as OA mentioned during the OCR panel with the emphasis on a rock opera style. I'm still curious how you guys managed to get some of these people on this project, because they never responded to the initial PM by Taucer or me when we kept the project secret. Quote
HitoriJaNai Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 I'm actually a bit surprised at the level of work I'm hearing. For such a long project, it looks to come out with great rewards to us all... I'm going to enjoy this. Quote
Kizyr Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Seeing this at the MAGFest OCR panel really got me excited about the release. So many great tracks on it--plus a few vocal ones, which is always a bonus (I saw two by DA, at the very least, but there could be others?). KF Quote
ProjectSpam Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Wow. This is a project I haven't really followed, since I've never actually played FF4. But now I might have to go and play it, because that preview kicked lots of ass. Yay for another thing to be excited about in '09! Quote

Kizyr Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 oh - i think there will be some nice surprises for you that are in the works This news definitely makes me happy. Would it be awful if I admitted to never having played FF4? I didn't get around to playing FF6 until last year. ...maybe I should go and take care of that problem before the album comes out. KF Quote
