Deathtank
http://forums.ngemu.com/emulation-news-submissions/131252-blazblue-continuum-shift-running-pcs.html Dont say anything but Im playing it right now....AND ITS AMAZING!!!!
Archaon
I'd probably be more pleased if there was any conceivable way to effectively play a game like this using a keyboard. (Yes yes, PC joypads exist, but I'm a cheap bastard.)
Schwaltzvald
For something like Blazblue I can only see myself playing it on the console, or at an arcade. Nonetheless fighters on the PC with the keyboard is doable believe it or not.
Archaon
It's doable, yeah, but it's far from ideal. Ever tried doing a 360 motion with WASD? Unless your opponent's willing to just stand in one place and wait while you jump around like a jackass, forget it.
Gollgagh
can't stand doing fighters with a keyboard that only supports 4 simultaneous inputs including directions I need the bare necessities at least (wtf, $54? I bought 4 of them for $5 a piece several years ago)

Flash Strife
Couldn't you just use a 360 controller?
Gario
Ever tried doing a 360 motion with WASD? My younger sister mastered the craft of WASD 360 moves (as in she could strategically use them in a real fight using WASD). Always wiped the floor with me using Zangief on X-men vs Street Fighter... so yeah, it's doable. Sadly, that's even my preferred style of controller. Nice hack, but I don't think my poor internet could handle the download
linkspast
Couldn't you just use a 360 ....Edit.... Of course, Im most likely retarded, and its going to be one of the few PS3 exclusives.. .
Schwaltzvald
the 360 controller fucking sucks for fighters... imo... WASD/PS style 4 Lyfe! and its going to be one of the few PS3 exclusives.. . Wait what?
Malaki-LEGEND.sys
If more games from different genres that I liked (IE fighters, JRPS, and other quirky japanese gaames) went to the PC, I'd probably make the switch to PC gaming altogether. I guess what I'm trying to say is GODDAMNIT OFFICIAL BB2 RELEASE ON PC GODDAMNIT!! Ok I'm good now.
DarkeSword
I think they are planning on a PC release of the game. Anyway just wanna drop in to say, "No links to downloads because it's illegal blah blah blah," you get the picture.
Jam Stunna
There's a program called XPadder that will allow you to set up a USB controller to play with. I'm using a PS2 controller with a USB hookup and XPadder to play.
The Biznut
Ever tried doing a 360 motion with WASD? This reminds me of the days I used to play Descent on PC using only the keyboard. . .. ... ....I have a headache now.
Gollgagh
pfff descent wasn't that bad as long as your keyboard could handle all the inputs good enough for trichording
SoloGamer
I remapped the keys to my 360 fightpad using the included config tool. Problem is, diagonals only register one direction (so I walk instead of jumping forward). I'm guessing using something like xpadder or joy2key will fix this? The Biznut
pfff descent wasn't that bad as long as your keyboard could handle all the inputs good enough for trichording It also wasn't that bad after an hour or so. I was flying drunk for the first level though. ...Unintentional Rhymage.
BardicKnowledge
the game crashes why i try to run it Don't run game.exe -- run the loader from a command line (try typex_loader game.exe) to get it to go.
SoloGamer
Don't run game.exe -- run the loader from a command line (try typex_loader game.exe) to get it to go. dragging and dropping the game exe to the loader exe also works, if you don't want to bother with a command line.
