Nario Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 EPISODE GUIDE: Facebook Versions: Episode 1 - Air Man--Episode 2 - Flash Man--Episode 3 - Quick Man--Episode 4 - Metal Man--Episode 5 - Bubble Man--Episode 6 - Heat Man--Episode 7 - Crash Man--Episode 8 - Wood Man--Episode 9: YOUTUBE-ONLY *YouTube Versions: -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- *I recommend these because they have very important self-commentary annotations on them. I beat Air Man from Mega Man 2 (NES)... WITH A DANCE PAD. People voted between DuckTales and Mega Man 2, and this won by a landslide! http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=392591481783 This is the first video in the series of me playing Mega Man 2 with a dance pad. Previously, I beat Castlevania and Super Mario Bros. with a dance pad, and while I doubt I'll be able to beat Dr. Wily's Castle, it doesn't hurt to try, right? Stay tuned for more, because it's just going to get harder and harder from here on out! Quote
OverCoat Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 nario you've found your niche you should show up to DDR tournaments and just play NES games, would be hilarious Quote
Nario Posted May 11, 2010 Author Posted May 11, 2010 I'm fighting Flash Man TOMORROW, by the way. Quote
Mirby Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Sweet, I'll plug that as well! Just don't die a lot. Hey, with Flash Man, you won't need special time effects! Quote
MechaFone Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Hats off to you, Nario. All these dance pad accomplishments are making me jealous, and dizzy. I doubt I have -any- eye-foot coordination, let alone what you're doing. Congratulations on so much success, keep this up Quote
SoulinEther Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 very nice. it's impressive to watch your feet and legs coordinate like that.. i'd probably end up falling over or dying in game. or both. Quote

OceansAndrew Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 The mega-buster in time with the music was some elite tech. I loved it! SHOW ME YOUR MOVES Quote
halc Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 but can you do it with the power pad?? btw, keep these up. they are quite entertaining Quote
SirChadlyOC Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Imagine if you had smaller-than-average feet. You could never have gotten to where you are now! All of that fame and fortune would NEVER HAVE HAPPENED. Remember to thank God every day for blessing you with your gifts! Quote
Nick Hyral Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 I feel like a small.. small man.. I can't even play DDR properly with a dance pad.. let alone pull this stuff off.. Loving it though. I'd have pulled all my hair out of my head in frustration by now. Quote
JCvgluvr Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Very enjoyable, and quite impressive. Good work TC! The bullet-time was a good touch! It made me lol. Quote
Deathtank Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 cool, now nario and gario should play Mario and then wario, k? Quote
BardicKnowledge Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Sometime Nario, you should try playing someone in Bushido Blade 2 where both of you only get dancepads. Amazingly fun and I think you'd enjoy it. Nice work on Air Man in the meantime. Quote
Nario Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 I beat Flash Man from Mega Man 2 (NES)... WITH A DANCE PAD. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=392827591783 Next up is Quick Man, and I am NOT going to use the Time-Stopper on his level either. Eek! Stay tuned! Quote
Mirby Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 lol that was the perfect response... hehe... I can't stop laughing. Quote
k-wix Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 This is the first video in the series of me playing Mega Man 2 with a dance pad. Previously, I beat Castlevania and Super Mario Bros. with a dance pad, and while I doubt I'll be able to beat Dr. Wily's Castle, it doesn't hurt to try, right?Stay tuned for more, because it's just going to get harder and harder from here on out! Nice. This reminds me - I once had a copy of Guilty Gear and a friend who loved the artwork, but was abysmal at fighting games. In order to coax him into playing with me, I gave myself an extreme handicap - I decided to play Chipp (my favorite character at the time) with a dance pad. It was a grueling 3 matches, but in the end i had adapted enough to perform basic combo's and do fireball motions and was actually able to beat him. Ever since then, he has become a much more competent player Still, if you ever want to see hilarity ensue, try a Vs. fighting game on a dance pad. Quote
Nario Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 That's pretty awesome. And long time no see, k-wix! I hope to have Quick Man up by Thursday night. We'll just have to see how everything works out! Quote
Khoregard Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Hahahahahahahaha*Gasp*aaaahahahaha. Good form! Your not pushing the envelope hard enough IMO, it only seems wrong your ignoring the one Robot Master who has dance moves of his own. Yes. Top Man. Can I haz video? Quote
Mirby Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Patience. He has other games on his list... he may try Mega Man 3 in the future, but he's got games to play before that. Quote
Nario Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 omgomgomg!!! I beat Quick Man from Mega Man 2... WITH A DANCE PAD!!! http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=393128191783 CAUTION: I DID NOT USE THE TIME-STOPPER ON THE LASERS. THIS EXCITES YOU. Next up is Metal Man, coming out tomorrow! Quote
