1) Out of necessity, I vote for the blue Tap Runner, which is almost a year late in being added to the randomizer after Liontamer advocated that his bio be written and entered into the Wiki. Please, djpretzel. *bows*

2) Out of serious consideration, I vote for Q*Bert. Everyone recognizes his snot nose, some of the music in the game in the database was composed by virt, and he's an early game character like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.

3) Out of personal taste, I vote for Sorceress Edea. Initial antagonist of FF8, sexy, and appears with Squall, Rinoa, and Seifer on the box cover.

I definitely remember Q-Bert from my childhood. In fact, I somewhat resemble him.

I am in support of Sazh from FF XIII and would be happy to see Lenneth Valkyrie and The Weighted Companion Cube.

Overall, more representation from games that don't have mascots at all vs. creating additional ones for games that we already have mascots for is my vote.

Butz sounds stupid to me hence me calling him Bartz. And since he was brought over as Bartz, I would think if he did go up it'd make more sense to put him up as Bartz and not Butz.

They'd probably be more likely to use the SNES or Japanese version, which was Butz. I know when I played through and beat FF5, his name was Butz. I think Bartz is a fairly newer thing. I honestly hadn't even heard that translation of it until very recently. o_o

Either way, main protagonist from FFV and my favorite from Dissidia FTW.

His official US name is Bartz. Since all the mascots go by their official US names, he'd go up as Bartz Klauser, not Butz. As The Otaku demonstrated, no mascots go by their Japanese names if they have official US names. Whether you like it or not, that's his name.
