What video game music/OC ReMixes do you or WOULD you use for a ringtone?

Just curious. Please, suggest those that would make for GOOD ring tones and not bad ones (too quiet/too loud, not distinct enough, too short, and so forth) .

Excellent. Most of the Chocobo themes seem to work.

Right now I'm using shna's Samus Bubblebath, but your mileage will vary depending on how well your phone can reproduce the bass (unless your phone can take any section of the song, or unless you make a ringtone out of it manually). I find the snare in the less maniacal beginning to be good at catching my attention without being too distracting. And, as I said, if you're taking your own section, the first presentation of the brinstar theme on flute (least i think it's a flute) would be great.

I've had good success with GarageBand for my Iphone, anything I have in my library could be a ringtone. Other than that I have to suggestions, kinda a one trick pony over here.

I've had all kinds of success making sound clips, ringtones, and the like with Audacity. Totally free, and definitely easy to use!

I'll echo the praise for Audacity. It's pretty straightforward... and if you've never used it before, you might as well get some experience on it because it's a really handy free (and open source!) program.

I've used many in the past and switch it up to suit the holiday, but currently I'm using Hi, Score! (Ranking Display) by Shael Riley from the Blood on the Asphalt album. I start it right from the beginning. It's pretty dope.

Metaknight's revenge from smash brothers brawl, people always comment that it's funky, distinct and ask what it is haha

It's good because the intro is short and gets louder, doesn't alert other people as much, so gives me time to answer phone calls before the main theme comes on

for the longest time i used an old looped alternate version of the chiptune intro i made for 'Black Wing Metamorphosis'

but my new phone can only do WAV or MIDI, and has a file transfer limit of 200kb that i have yet to figure out a way to bypass, so i mostly stick to MIDIs. generally either phoenix wright or super mario world.
