Tales series: Summoning of Spirits - History

Recommended Posts

A. Thank you for your support. :)

B. Our current site is here. It will change exponentially for the release. It looks like the link to Beyond Absentminded is currently broken on that site. I'll look into it, but for now, you can still grab it right here. And of course djp's track is right here at OCR.

C. Absolutely, we made banners specifically for that purpose and suggest anyone who wants to promote the project to use them.

All the Bonus Tracks are broken actually, except for Usa's "Love Song."

Thanks, guys! I'm definitely liking both of the bonus tracks, and given that I still haven't even heard any of the Symphonia stuff yet, this is going to be awesome. And I guess I'll show my support and put one of those banners in my sig, too, at least for now. It beats having a blank sig.

Well, I'll be damned. I wasn't expecting DQD out so soon...

Welp, looks like we're on point! Let's see what we can do.

I was just wondering about that today (well, yesterday now)...

Okay, let's make sure we've got everything covered, guys.

Brining this idea back:

Are any contributors willing to try and arrange a track from the Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk Original Soundtrack. We can attempt to procure said soundtrack. ReMixing from this would specifically be in anticipation of the game coming out soon in North America.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World comes out in the States on 11/18, like I mentioned before. Plenty of time to do something by that date, plus that doesn't have to be the release date.

Kyle/Lea, up for it?

An interesting proposal, Larry. I am procuring said soundtrack as we speak, but I honestly can't say for sure. It would be good to add to the anticipation of the game, though. We shell sea.

Hey, I'm willing to give it a shot. Had to do this project's remix in about a week and a half anyway :D

EDIT: Wow, that is a long soundtrack...

Don't worry, 90% of the soundtrack seems to be ripped from the original Symphonia anyway (and there's even a few Phantasia tracks around). I'll see what's good, though.

Here's a ridiculous fact: The soundtrack doesn't have Fighting of the Spirit. Seriously, Namco. You fucked up on that one.

And no Fatalize, either.

Well, if there are any good original ones, I'm up for that. But yeah, rehashes aren't really worth it.

Kinda surprising since they at least used the Symphonia version of FotS on the early trailers.

Well, I'll give it a listen, see if something stands out especially...

Yeah, obviously avoiding any covers in this new soundtrack. Hope Kyle finds some good ones!

Keep up the good works guys. I was looking on your website what's up, after the release of DQD, Tales Sos is the next project i'm waiting for.

Why not do like... ten select songs from that game, maybe as a bonus CD... I mean... It would suck to prolong this any longer... Some people have been waiting so long and are impatient and gonna bitch you out haha, but if you are really gonna do this... Do like 10 tracks... Select the worthy ones instead of making people go rhrough them, and let's get started on it NOW.

Haha... I mean by all means if you want me to try another track I will, but I am about as reliable as a something really not reiable (I suck at metaphors)

Oh god, we aren't doing anything as massive as ten more tracks.

We've already got a move on on this. We'll see how things play out. This won't prolong things, however. If they're not done, they're cut.

There's probably a good explanation for Fighting of the Spirit, such as the spirits have all been fought and still have a pact with Sheena? (Only speculation. Song also plays in Phantasia the same way as in Symphonia)

Now a lack of Fatalize is a fuck up. :/

Congrats, guys!

Tell that bastid to hurry the fluck up!

By the way, this came to my knowledge yesterday, and AGAIN Fighting of the Spirit is missing! Who the hell is putting these things together? Rest assured we will not disappoint Tales fans by not arranging the battle themes everyone actually wants to hear. Hopefully Namco and Sakuraba can redeem themselves when this gets released next month.

Awww, Tales of Innocence's battle music isn't on there. I kind of liked that one... :c

Wait a minute...they put Tempest's battle music...IT'S A FREAKING ESCORT TITLE, EVERYTHING ELSE IS MOTHERSHIP! D< Bad Namco and Sakuraba. Bad. Although, he didn't compose the music to it, either...
