I decided to go to my dad's workplace last friday, and when I was there, I d/led all of the FF and CT music off of ocremix. (I have 56k.) When I got home, I went through the songs... too bad I listened to this one for five seconds and then skipped it. But then when I came back, I thought it was hilarious! It took me 5 times before I could understand half of the lyrics though. (I'm such a chink. ) So... anyone want to type the lyrics? EDIT: Never mind! They were on the flash video! Quote

Lord_Atmo Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 this song is pure genius. i'm still laughing at it. normally i despise remixes with lyrics. but this is a comedy song. and the flash video that goes with it is to die for. this song kicks ass! the mp3 has notable differences from the flash video. the whole "fi-nal-fan-tas-y" whsipering thing is new...and i don't like it. i don't like the alterations in the mp3 at all. Not appropriate for a Family Audience. Listen in the sections between the Verses and you can hear a lady whispering some rather, well, Im not really so sure as I can barely make out the words, but there is definatly somthing there . I have only been able to make out some of the words so far. ( There is some of the Voice at 1:10-1:17 ) Quote

Yes It can be easy to mistake that as "unappropriate words". I even thought she was saying.... "unappropriate words"..but as soon as you listen very carefully you can make out "Final Fantasy.." ...Yea I thought probably what you thought also ^^; Quote

After separating the voice from the music using an equalizer, it came out "socially correct." For those having trouble, the voice is around the 1Khz band. Quote

I've always loved the Chocobo theme, in every FF I'd spend a few minutes just riding around, listening to it. I actually have to admit I thought it was hilarious... believe it or not you now have several people who have memorized that song infinitely for the purpose of scaring those who don't play video games. I have no idea how you used the computer voice system... but it was extremely effective... not to mention the musical composition itself backe the voices up really well... keep up the good parodies... Zipp Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 My first couple listens to this song (okay, my first couple hundred listens to this song) were great and it was hilarious and stuff. Now, it's still hilarious, but for some reason gives me a massive shaking headache. That does drop it down a notch, I'm sorry to say. So, 4/5. Yeah. Oh and by the way, I saw that FF video finally, and didn't think it was the greatest ever, and onnly mildly amusing. The best part, for me, is probably Selphie going wack on sugar. That WAS great. What's probably one of the more recognized songs out there because of that crazy little flash animation on Newgrounds. Much like several others have stated, I saw the flash animation before listening to the actual song... the flash was okay, but the song itself is hilarious! I especially like how the background music playing with the lyrics is still good. It's all peppy and goofy sounding that you could skip to... perfect for a ROBOVoice song! My favourite spot of this goofy little remix is the lines... "With music by Nobou, and graphics by Wong-Chuuuuuuu!" ...for some reason that makes me laugh every single time. XD This is definitely one of the more unique remixes on the site and this sort of thing is highly encouraged by any of those capable of it. As for my recommendation... if you get a laugh out of silly things, go for this remix now! Quote
