Anorax
Something that just popped up: when searching the forums for the phrase "writer's block", I would get an internal server error when clicking on the search results. However, if I searched for writer block or writers block (grammarians beware!), I can click on any of the results and the page loads normally. EDIT: Should point out I discovered this on Chrome for Android. Can confirm on Chrome Version 43.0.2336.0 canary (64-bit) on Windows 7 Home Premium. timaeus222
I just want to say I get this error too when I use Firefox 36.0 in Windows 7 and on Safari on an iPad 2. Edited March 18, 2015 by timaeus222
AngelCityOutlaw
Weird, doesn't happen for me despite using the same things and trying hard to make it happen. I feel left out. ¯\(°_o)/¯ Edited March 18, 2015 by AngelCityOutlaw
DarkeSword
To clarify for Dave, the error occurs when trying to visit a search result from an apostrophe search. When you search for certain terms, the search results include that term in the URL in order to do result highlighting on the page. When an apostrophe is included as part of the URL in the search term, that's what causes the error. Example: http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?p=791840&highlight=writer%27s#post791840
Anorax
So the server, for whatever reason, cannot handle %27 in a URL when highlighting? Neat.
Polo
1) Links - In the Game Music News section, the 4th item appears as: [http://www.squareenixmusic.com/ Square Enix Music Online Besides the weird format, it now redirects to: Game Music Online 2) Mega Man: The Wily Wars - It was released in '94 according to most references on that page, not '93. Speaking of which, the links to GameSpot (needs a capital S) and MobyGames lead to the wrong pages, so here's a fix for GameSpot and MobyGames respectively. Naveronasis
On this work computer every thread is backwards, starting with the newest post at the top, and the oldest post on the last page, its very confusing. How do I set it back to normal?!
Naveronasis
Found it ._. it was in the User CP
Anorax
How exactly do subscriptions work on the new boards? I'm a little more than confused with this, so I'm hoping that someone has more experience with Ib than I do and can answer this question.
djpretzel
http://ocremix.org/community/index.php?app=core&module=help Under "Topics & Forums >> Notifications" there's some information - does it answer your question? If not, can you be more specific?
DarkeSword
You can manually subscribe to a thread by clicking the "Follow this topic" button at the top of every thread. It will give you a notification option. If you go to the section that djpretzel linked, you can also set the forum to auto-subscribe you to any thread you reply to. Anorax
Ah, thanks. That helps a lot. I'm assuming instead of going to the User CP to find subscribed threads w/new replies, they'll now show up in the upper right corner?
DarkeSword
Yes, and you can also go to your Notifications in your new User CP.
Anorax
Heh, I'll need to get used to having a much longer URL for accessing the User CP than /forums/usercp.php that vBulletin had. That, and forums being under /community/ rather than /forums/. Oh well. Thanks again!
timaeus222
Actually, the /forums/ directory currently redirects to the /community/ directory, so that's nice!
Anorax
Ah, I see my problem. My default URL for going to OCR is OCR/forums/usercp.php, which does not currently redirect to any part of IPB. It simply shows the "migrating forum software" page, while showing I'm logged into vBulletin in the upper corner. I'm going to need to stop using /forums/usercp.php and train Chrome to forget that specific URL as a default.

William Jackson
I see some PHP warnings at the top of the page when I visit http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR03117. Things like: Warning: DOMDocumentFragment::appendXML() [domdocumentfragment.appendxml]: Entity: line 4: parser error : Entity 'nbsp' not defined in /home/ocremix/public_html/includes/php/classes/Xml.php on line 283Not all remix pages are affected, but one other I found with this problem is http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR03114. djpretzel

Black_Doom
Yeah, there's already thread with such a problem, but it's closed now, and I have to start a new one. I've just found 2 ReMix pages that have the same problem: OCR2111 and OCR1942.
noTuX
Not sure if they have already been mentioned, but I have a couple of things. When I'm browsing through the forums on my phone, the site randomly switches between the mobile and full version. Also, I don't see a way to skip to different pages in the mobile version (I may have overlooked it, idk...). I have to go through every page. In the full version the page numbers are on the bottom, but in mobile you just have "next" and "previous." timaeus222
timaeus222
Yep, that's been asked earlier (in the "Welcome to the New Forums" topic here), and hopefully it can be addressed.
Brandon Strader
Quota of positive votes per day... is that really necessary?? I just got on today and it says I'm at my quota, I couldn't even like ONE post... I must have done some liking after midnight is the only explanation I can think of. timaeus222

It seems that all the forums that are using this software has this feature - 5 (?) likes per day.
