shikigami
Is SNK even trying anymore? They're pulling a Sega on everyone. i think SNK stopped existing like 5 years ago. EDIT: oh nevermind they are now SNK Playmore :: and fuck neo-geo give me Crystalis you whores.
Wintermute
No shit. I need to get my Crystalis on.
Devyn
Can't wait for World Heroes, especially 2 and Perfect. What other game can you pit a pirate against a ninja or a viking against a football player? Also, I've always wanted a real Neo Geo version of Fatal Fury, because Fatal Fury is totally rad. Effector
SNK, stop embarrassing yourself. I bought your Metal Slug Anthology, I have no need for you anymore. How many versions of a single game do they need to release?
Drack
Why release these games instead of KOF anyway?
Neo Samus
I with Mega Dave on this one. World Heroes 2 was the shit when I was younger. The clubhouse in my neighborhood had three arcade units in there. An MVS, The current Tekken game and Bust-A-Move. Ah the good ol' days...... I will get some Neo-Geo games, just not these ones. BardicKnowledge
When (if) Samurai Shodown comes out, I will probably get that series. Other than that, I must have Crystalis on the Wii -- Crystalis and Startropics would make me extremely happy (and make Nintendo $10). Yeah, it's like buying Street Fighter before Street Fighter version 12 comes out, but it's so tempting. I already have Star Tropics, which is really under-rated. The one I'm waiting for is Blaster Master. I have it on NES, but the ability to resume the state makes it worth it because that game can take a long time to beat. Bigfoot
Medal of Honor Heroes 2 gameplay. This game is supposed to have 32-player online battle. Looks like it could be good. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/24951.html
KakTheInfected
Doesn't it come out the day before or after Mario Galaxy though? That's a fucked up release date...
KWarp
Rumors has it Dewy's Adventure releases the 18th. Anyone picking that up? I'm neutral on the game and waiting for reviews.
KakTheInfected
I've heard it's not so hot...definetly gonna rent it though.
Imagist
Last I heard release was pushed to the 25th. It was originally slated for two weeks ago (the 4th).
WesPip
I've heard it's not so hot...definetly gonna rent it though. I haven't heard much about it at all, but it SEEMS like it'd be a fun little game.

BardicKnowledge
I second Blaster Master (too lazy to quote because it's a whole page back). Great game that took far too long to play.
The Author
So, I have just learned that next week, there's gonna be a DDR game on the Wii. Since I don't know much about these games, I have some questions: 1: The bundle, is it a lot more expensive? 2: Is the bundled mat usually worth it? 3: Is DDR a fun game for someone who lives alone and well, doesn't get to play with other people that often? shikigami
3: Is DDR a fun game for someone who lives alone and well, doesn't get to play with other people that often? its good practice so you can go to arcades and pwn n00bs. Darkmetamorphasis
I suppose that it would be good practice. As with every other DDR available. Hmm, you think they'd do wireless pads?

They are a lot better than what they used to be years ago. When you start playing on the expert level, you'll probably want to invest in a Red Octane Ignition Pad(around $70 now a days) 3: I prefer playing alone at the arcades, so yes. Also, #1 rule when starting DDR. DON'T STAND IN THE MIDDLE THE WHOLE TIME. Or when you step on a panel, don't always go back to the middle. The majority of people that play for the first time do this(I did), and while it's ok for beginner songs, it won't help you out once you start playing a little bit more difficult songs. So basically just keep your movements flowing. It'll also save you energy so you're not moving twice as much by going back to the center of the mat after every step. In other words, don't do this(watch the guy on the right): Do this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=_vrXSneQBcY I suppose that it would be good practice. As with every other DDR available.Hmm, you think they'd do wireless pads? Konami probably won't have wireless pads, but I'm sure some 3rd party will have them eventually. Bigfoot
Well, there's a mode to use the Wiimote. The pads will work just like the Mario Mix on Gamecube(that's also compatible, so you don't have to buy the bundle if you have that pad already). If a company makes a wireless pad, it'll just have a receiver like a wavebird.
