Super Mario 64: Portrait of a Plumber - History

Recommended Posts

...Omg... I ran into this thread to check out what status you're in...AND BLIND CLAIMED TRACKS?!?!?!

::texts bLiNd::

Yesterday I made a joke, "You might as well join Super Mario 64 project since you're already in so many."

.....................................................

I didn't think it would happen.

And Fishy, you gotta claim one of my tracks now. It's only fair. lol jk

She didn't force me this time hahahahah

She knows mario is one of my favorite game series tho so she shouldn't be surprised. I say when it rains it pours, i've been asked to join every project on the planet, so i joined the remaining ones that I can handle because in reality deadlines are just to motivate people to finish their songs, but I am self motivated to finish these projects because I love the music and I love producing. These projects are gonna be standing in line for release for a while anyway so don't no one drop me, I will deliver :P

PS - Fishy you should claim a track on wild arms anyway b4 they all disappear, we are being lenient about submitting WIPs :P

You forgot the first half of a bold tag in the tracklist, dude.

Also, I can do the Opening Theme. It's a short source, should be easy to work with. I think I can squeeze it in amongst all my other projects. Besides, I finished a track today, I can take on a new one. Shouldn't, but can.

Oh and pu, blind is on just about every project, including you-know-which-one-I'm-reminding-you-of. :P

Don't worry, yours is next in line after Around the World, which should be completed soon enough. And yeah bLiNd seems to be the new Fishy.

EDIT: lol thanks Jade, ANOTHER project :P I don't know if my signature can take it ;)

lol, I suppose that's fair. I'll pick one tomorrow :P.

Is that an official claim? That would make the project almost full :P.

Alas, I'm not the project whore I once was.

Well deadlines never really worked for us :/ but now the all the tracks are taken (the latest few by people who generally work ridiculously fast) I really see no reason we can't all be done by new year. I'm not making that official unless we're literally waiting on people.

I have a question....

When's the next WIP date?

and sorry if it's visible somewhere that I can't see it at this time.

What is it with you people and leaving up dead forum links in the OP?! SD3 did the same thing! How many dead forums do I need to register to? It took me, like, 10 minutes to realize the last activity was in September... of 2008. Heh, well, anyways, so should I just get a WIP to you Fishy personally or what? I've been trying and trying to get my ideas straight for the some of the other mixes that are supposed to come first (Rozovian, I swear I'm not just delaying it, I'm just musically brain-blocked on that song...ugh, crossing my fingers for some inspiration soon), but if I get work done on this, let me know what do to.

Actually that September thing is just in the public section. I wouldn't call the private section thriving but there is some. There would be a lot more if there wasn't something wrong with them that meant people can't join them.

Basically send them to me. I'll sort out a new forum soon.

It's my understanding that the preliminary plan is to release this in September of 2011, a decade and a half after Super Mario 64 was released in America. Do I have my facts straight?

wow, you're hitting all the projects, aren't you?

a word of advice. projects never - NEVER - come out when they're scheduled to. ever. just wait, don't try and figure it out. it's like the second coming of christ - like a thief in the night, when no one's expecting.

Unless those dates are goals, that defeats the purpose (or at least the one that would seem most obvious).

Hey dude he's just trying to let you know how things kinda normally pan out here. While dates and goals are a good thing; they have a tendency to change bc "life" gets in the way of many remixers plans to finish tracks on time. An OCR site project is an absolute crazy thing to run.

It BETTER not take that long to come out. That would mean my mix would be sitting on "to be posted" for nearly 4 years. :P

Seriously though, since progress is actually being made on the last tracks, I doubt it'll be beyond 2010. Just depends how things pan out with projects set to release ahead of it.

Yeah, I really doubt we're talking 2011 for this one. Got several more tracks very near. Unfortuantely bLiNd had to drop out for personal reasons, but we're still moving forward nicely atm. I've heard 4 sizeable wips that aren't on the forum in the last 2 weeks or so, and I've almost finished my track :D.
