Cerrax
Wow. I love how bent out of shape everyone is getting about AN OPINION. Dorks. PS-I like all of those interpretations (especially the Futurama one)
Effector
Wow. I love how bent out of shape everyone is getting about AN OPINION.Dorks. What? Aren't all arguments about people's opinions? What a silly thing to say.
Israfel
It would be hypocritical for me to criticize a "remix" for ignoring the original artist's intent... ...but what the hell. That's just sooooo not Peanuts--completely messes up the characters. Good grief.
!Nekko!
Why....Why...It's like going to DevArt and seeing http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/46036660/ and http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/46124117/ and wondering WTF:whatevaa: Actually, that artist got approached by Matt Groening to do work for him. Also, OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD. Seriously. Old.
Shining Mirage
I'm glad my late-night antics entertained some people at least. In the short time that I've been here, I don't think that I'll ever see that again.

Ffej
*shrug* I'm not some big Japanese cartoon nerd and I thought they were well-drawn and at least mildly amusing.
AarowSwift
I saw this a while back. There's nothing wrong with the drawings in and of themselves...but they aren't the Peanuts characters. Art style isn't just to give shape to a character's figure it also gives shape to the personality. These anime style figures have effectively lost the charm and personality of the characters they are based on.

Schwaltzvald
I'm surprised no one complained or mentioned the time when the guys who make "Family Guy" did their reinterpretation of the peanuts gang; In particularly when Charlie Brown explodes into a house explaining himself while the skank was next to him. Or the time where Peppermint Patty and Marcie were shown as lesbians
Darkness Lite
That's because Family Guy is full of BS, their main marketing point. It's what makes them funny, and why noone in their right mind would dare take them seriously. That, and it had not been brought up before you mentioned it. Schwaltzvald
While on the subject of "altering" classic characters here's a couple more though from a different artist that some how got to work within a department of Matt Groening's make http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/46036660/ - her take on a Simpson pic http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/46124117/ - Another take this time on Matt Groening's Futurerama characters... In between reading what was said and written.. There seems to be some talk in reviving Futurerama... Any help with confirming this would be great! edit: I noticed it's been out for a while.. (6 months) I'm surprised I haven't heard about it till today lol...
Blake
Those pics actually made me smile. But I hate the peanuts one. They're turning the movies into episodes later for Comedy Central.

Trenthian
I never thought I'd recoil in horror at anything peanuts related. Fortunately it’s just some idiot on the internet who can’t draw that made this travesty.

The thing about those though, is the fact that the artist didn't destroy the essence of the characters by drawing them in another style.
