FS
Not really a movie, but the score for Blood+ is insanely good. Slightly derivative of Crimson Tide in places, but Mark Mancina and Hans Zimmer do an outstanding job on both.
Nutritious
Great thread! Shrek the Third as far as the scored tracks for the movie. I was watching in the theater and was really surprised at the good quality epic pieces. A good example is when they get on the ship to sail away towards the beginning (if I remember right). It's probably present in the other two movies to some extent, but I only really paid attention when watching the third one. Enemy of the State had very good/moving tracks on it if I remember right. Uses both orchestral and synthetic elements. Spy Game had some VERY cool tracks. Some orchestral, synth, as well as some oriental and middle-eastern themes. It's Gregson-Williams though, so what do you expect? The Italian Job (2003 remake) had some good music also. I'm not sure what you'd call the style, but very enjoyable. It's another blended soundtrack with strings, jazz elements (stand up bass, brushed drums, and some plucked guitar), and more synthetic stuff. Ocean's 11,12,13 I love the soundtracks for these movies. Very appropriate style for the type of movie. (not the licensed songs, but the songs original for the movie) What do you call this? Lounge Jazz type stuff? Anyway, I think that's good for now.

Adam_Slight
I didn't care for the Pirates 2 OST. The problem was that every last song lightly referenced the theme, but never once in the movie did they just full on play the theme, with the exception of the credits. The theme was never on the OST, except in remix form, which means the longest theme cut available is the final track from the OST for the first movie. That clocks in at a little over a minute and a half. If you want the theme song, get the first movie's soundtrack. Conan the Barbarian has an awesome soundtrack, and Empire Strikes Back is amazing. Also, Godfather, The Incredibles, Beetlejuice, LOTR, Hannibal and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly to name a few

Sole Signal
Pirates of the Caribbean is great. On the 2nd one, they released 3 remixes of "He's a Pirate" (theme song), which are very enjoyable. Especially "Pete 'n Red's Jolly Roger Radio Edit" http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=5796650&q=hi As for soundtracks I've enjoyed: Ocean's 11, 12 and 13! Bourne series Pirates series the Incredibles Rocky IV Matrix 1 and 2 Serenity
Adam_Slight
Here are some more: Casino Royale, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...even Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban, Edward Scissorhands is alright, Princess Mononoke is killer Are we talking soundtracks or scores? Oh please...I think we all know he means scores..."golly, this movie has great foley and the non-diagetic and off-screen sound effects just move me"
Maco70
I said this in that other tread before but w/e. "A knight's Tale" has a kickass soundtrack. As do Transformers (1986), and Across the universe. Other than that... umm... The lion king?
Vesh
For score, Sneakers. For popular music soundtrack, I kinda have no answer. I haven't enjoyed (meaning: listened to repeatedly) a pop soundtrack in a decade+ (LiS, Hackers).
MechaFone
I'm gonna suggest Willow. The soundtrack has wonderful guitar/banjo Irish-inspired folk music for the village scenes, and the adventurous/MadMartigan theme is what I love the best. I was going to mention that, but I though "Nah". The whole score is really good, especially the main "action" theme. Even the cheesy village music near the beginning is easily memorable and sets a great atmosphere. Another movie I would put up there (that I've probably mentioned 3,000 times) is Neverending Story. That soundtrack rips. It's probably impossible for anyone to dislike the main theme. Same for the song that plays when someone rides a horse or a dragon. Moseph
Another movie I would put up there (that I've probably mentioned 3,000 times) is Neverending Story. That soundtrack rips. It's probably impossible for anyone to dislike the main theme. Same for the song that plays when someone rides a horse or a dragon. For what it's worth, Giorgio Moroder -- the guy who wrote the Neverending Story theme song -- is the same guy who wrote Berlin's "Take my Breath Away" (i.e. that song from Top Gun). Doulifée
The Rock has some killer music that sounds like MGS2 -- not surprising, given that Gregson-Williams had a hand in the score for both. Also, Gladiator has sweet music. Holy cow, it's good. i support this post. Rock and gladiator.

Armoured Priest
Craig Safan's OST for the Movie "The Last Starfighter" inspired by Holst's Planets song cycle (Mars: Bringer of War, Jupiter: Bringer of Jolity, ect)
Brushfire
You know, now that I think about it, the 07' Transformers movie had a pretty epic score to it too. I went and saw Geki Ranger/Kamen Rider Den-O in the theatre and it had a decent score/soundtrack. And for no reason, hot chicks.
