Trenthian
I was pretty shocked at first too!! then saw the age and I was like, russell is much older than that right? alas, he is likely alive and well, as he seems to have signed on yesterday, 1 whole day after sunday. OverCoat
I knew it was about time for another "what happened to Russell Cox?" thread, but this is an interesting new twist.
Mustin
I think my cox is in TN and not IN, but I dunno. Plus I'm pretty sure he's older. Anyone know for sure?
DragonFireKai
Someday people will learn that gunpowder, a propane tank, and spark producing metals should never be combined in your basement.
Ramaniscence
The REAL Russell Cox logged of AIM @ 12:36AM. Plus, if he was writing music like he was when he was 14, I'd be pretty impressed.
bouncerboy15
Glad nothing is wrong with OCR Russell Cox.
Murmeli Walan
Plus, if he was writing music like he was when he was 14, I'd be pretty impressed. Not only that, but he'd be smart enough not to duct tape gunpowder to a propane tank.
The Author
Not only that, but he'd be smart enough not to duct tape gunpowder to a propane tank. I loved the comments on the news story. "It's a tragedy..." "No you idiot, he was making a PIPE BOMB!"
Devyn
I'm tired of hearing about people dying all the time. It's depressing.
anosou
You know this is sad in two ways, one: I thought another guy from OCR died two: a guy died you ruined my day bury this thread already.
Russell Cox
Wow... First all, no it isn't me. I just turned 26 yesterday, and I'm fairly confident I was alive for my non-celebration. Second of all, this is incredibly freaky. I moved to Indiana in September to get away from the shithole that is Tennessee. As far as "nothing wrong with me" ... well... a lot of people would say being gay is wrong but fuck 'em. No, wait, I won't because they're straight. EDIT: How the hell do I change my name. How the *fuck* did it become Strijder Vechter?

How the *fuck* did it become Strijder Vechter? I am sure some helpful mod will make the name change, I remember hearing that some accounts were merged in the migration but I'm not sure. Strijder may have been your original name. And I have to say this: Thank you for not exploding.
DragonFireKai
Let that be a lesson to you, Strijder Vechter. Gunpowder and propane do not mix, lest you wind up like your namesake.
Tenucha
First time I read the topic, I thought it said "Russel Crow blew himself up!!" lol

The Author
Thanks for not dying man Also, yay gay! Yay gay? Well... yeah I guess so... I mean, are you sure that was yay worthy? I would hope that in 2007, homosexuality would be met by a meh more than a yay... but anyway. Also, at this point, I have to say I originally read the title as "Russel Cox blew himself" which has a decidedly different meaning. Oh well, take this opportunity to listen to Russel Cox's music. It's always worth it.

Mustin
What's wrong with Yay Gay? Awesome, Cox isn't dead. Awesome, a 19 yo blew himself up. Awesome new screen name! BAJCHINGO!
The Author
What's wrong with Yay Gay? Well, I just dont see how it was Yay worthy. I mean, I'm in no way homophobic (I'd have to hate a part of myself for that) it's just.. I dunno, the "yay gay" felt... useless in that context.
