  2. This arrangement actually did bring me to tears. I had my entire OCR library on shuffle, so it was very unexpected, but the tenderness in those first notes struck at both my fond nostalgia of playing this game over and over in childhood and my love for those doomed islanders - which, apparently, has not faded over the decades. This song sounds to me today like the original sounded to my untrained ears as a child, and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible.
  3. It has been a long time since I played Twilight Princess, so i had to go back and listen to the source in order to hear what has been done to this remix. It's good, its really good, but every time I have listened to it I have hit the end and tried to figure out why my computer stopped making sound. I want to listen to more of this, without repeating the song over and over

  5. Hello! Updated with a new version of the remix, see original post
  6. Now it works. Nice piece, I enjoy the progression of instrumentation and vibes, it begins with a dramatic fanfare feel that transistions into a moment of elegance that concludes with that energetic guitar. Good work! I'm curious about the percussion you used in this piece, what kinda instruments are they? It really creates that cinematic orchestra vibe that I've been trying to figure how to define.
  7. Oh my God this whole time I was wondering why nobody even looked at the link haha. I never even put it there *sigh*. I feel so bad for wasting people's time! It is there now.

  10. Hi :)! I published new music. It's an orchestral track with tribal elements inspired by Donkey Kong Country 2 soundtrack.
  11. Cool, I loved playing Tetris Attack. A real lively source, whatever shall I do to it...
  12. Thanks for the info. I hope pro tools allows you to assign to keyboard for midi triggering, otherwise manually drawing the notes would take forever.
  13. If they are wav files you should be able to just drag and drop em or go to import and import the wav into your session. That's how I would do it in pro tools anyway and it tends to be way more fickle than logic lol
  14. By some guy midierror. 'Midierror's deluxe chip shop'. Can someone direct me to a guide on how to import all these samples into a Daw to use? I'm with logic pro. Thank you. https://rhythm-lab.com/chipshop-deluxe
  15. i am a sorta musically-inclined & just upgraded my 11 yearold rig to a `19 mini i7 with 64G ram(almost at a steal price). Reason for the ram insanity is because of the supercheap monthly composer cloud x subscription, orchestral sound libraries need a buttload of ram.... & i now have 1.25T of eastwest sample libraries that kick ass. What i want now is a good 8bit plugin that wont have me install a proprietary downloader just to download one freakin vst... Few months ago while i was looking for chiptune/8bit plugin VST's i ran across a guy who was creator os some videogame music

  19. I saw the words "Battle Royale" and immediately checked out mentally. I don't associate any Battle Royale games with a great story. I agree, it would be neat to see that era fleshed out, but I don't think this format is the way to do it.
  20. I'm sure there will be some kind of an FF7 Remake Ultimate Complete Collection for PS7 or so (would be iconic --->> FF7 Remake - 7 Blu-ray discs full of content - after 7 years of development - kept as a company-internal secret for further 7 years - finally announced for PS 7 ;D). But they seem to work on several FF7 spin-offs these days - unfortunately announced for mobile devicesin many cases. This one here called "Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier" doesn't seem to be received that well. But in my opinion the story behind the beginning of the Shinra empire h
  21. Hello! I composed underwater video game music inspired by Chrono Trigger OST and many other titles. What do you think about it? Does it bring some other games in your mind :)?
  22. Here's the next WIP of Advanced as well, almost done blocking this one out. Feels like an ordeal, but listening to it after taking a break for a while I like it more than I thought perhaps. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZiOMMuLTKTLqwikwlIXBzRw0gjXY0vJS/view?usp=sharing
