As for the voice samples, I was referring to the Ganon's Message I had promised to do, but I can do anything folks want me to. I'm more of a bass than tenor, so I'm not sure how good my Link would be - especially if I try to 'chipmunk' it - but I can try that too. I just like to be all kinds of villainous! To clarify, we host our album projects as follows: A ZIP file containing MP3s, album art, notes, etc., hosted on HTTP-based file servers. We host the ZIP file on a number of mirrors to spread around the bandwidth. A torrent package containing FLACs, MP3s, album art, notes, etc. that people can download using a BitTorrent client. OC ReMix hosts is own tracker. We also provide our albums for streaming (not download) on our Soundcloud page. If you're looking to host and distribute an album, you can buy some web space or you can upload the album to some kind of free service. A lot of people use Bandcamp for albums.

I'll just keep 'em on sound cloud then(the ones I don't use). Btw, two things: 1.We Need a Discord Server for the Pieces of Courage website & its related projects so we don't turn the OCR threads into chats. 2. we need to figure out a standard file format for the Final Album tracks(.WAV, .MP3, .FLAC, etc.)

Track Name for Lost Woods: "Fake Swords" I estimate about two weeks to get this ready. Voice samples for Sunday at the latest. Life just keeps getting in the way... Just a quick note about our title: Pieces of Courage is a name I feel would be better suited to a project of Zelda 1 or 2, as these games revolve around the Triforce of Courage. A Link to the Past doesn't focus on any one piece of the Triforce. Picky, I know - but I do feel a name for the album should reflect a little closer to the nature of the game. ... Not that I'm trying to steal any thunder from BlueJackG! It was a good suggestion.

I'd say "Train to Greedville" is probably my favorite and could be submitted to the judges. I understand not getting a remix on OCRemix (I've failed multiple times but I won't give up) but I think that one might be worthy (it even has a nice title). oh and your very welcome.

I think you're definitely got a style and a rather nice one at that. You're Wario medley had me dancing in my seat and was insanely catchy. Your original compositions and Azalea Town remix are quite good as well. I have a low self-esteem (it's getting better) and suffer from high anxiety. I understand being depressed and it really helps to remix and compose music. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Timaeus. You have made some good points there that should help me. Yes, I do have a MIDI keyboard and used it for every single song on here (except Wrong Enemy which was a MIDI arrangement(there was a glitch with the guitar sound so it's much louder and distorted than it would've been). I wasn't expecting these to be the best things ever. After all, I only spent a month and a half on them. If they were going to be perfect I would've spent at least 3 months on them. Also (evident in @Slimy's post) saying that I won't be tolerating haters is just going to drag them in. thank you ~~metalwarrior06

Lol, I keep looking for the 2016 Darke megaman compo but this one is a pleasant surprise. Loved this game. One of the few that had good writing and fun combat at the time.

I think it needs work, but it's very difficult to distribute feedback on 20+ tracks at once. Find one or two from this album that you feel you could use advice on, and post individual threads. I also suggest not coming onto the WIP boards with a defensive attitude against "haters" - you're asking for help and criticism, so people WILL criticize your music, no matter how good it is. You're asking for the feedback, and from it will be criticism, so simply be ready to listen; it will help make you a better musician, if you are receptive to it. That's not to say you're not welcome, if you get significant criticism - I think if you post individual tracks for criticism and are receptive to the crits, you'll be quite welcome on here. I do hope this helps you find your way around here, and I hope you get good advice in here.

We host project albums at no cost to the creators or users. OCR pays for the hosting of all the content.

This is pretty much an insta-fave from the Heroes vs. Villains album - WillRock blows this out of the water. It's snazzy in a way that oozes of confidence and an attitude of can't handle this. This mix manages to maintain that high octane impression and never lets go throughout, and even the one brief pause leads to an even bigger build up. Definitely one of the best mixes on the site for 2011!
