    I don't really have prices for my stuff anymore - I tend to scare a lot of potential buyers by doing that.

    Anyway, its Gradius III, Tetris II and Joe and Mac 2. They all worked the last time I used them. I think I paid about $40 for all three of them. Send me back a reasonable offer if you're interested.

    Did you ever get your SNES? I found some games I failed to sell upstairs that are some good collector's pieces.

    Do your k240s headphones come off as boomy as mine do? I haven't been able to sit down and really listen with them until now but I'm surprised how bass-heavy they are. Are they supposed to come off that way?

    I don't mean to bother you with this, but I don't know anyone else who mixes with them.

    I backed up ALL my files on a terabyte before I installed Windows 7 because I was under the impression Windows 7 would be like a reformat from XP. I come to find out ALL those files are still on here, including the Program files, in a folder called Windows.old. I want to just toss all those files so I can get back about 70GB on a 500GB hard drive, because I already have them backed up, but because I don't even know how It crashed in the first place, I'm, hopefully, justifiably nervous in fucking around with more things I don't know about yet. Is it safe to just trash those files?

    Bullarkey. Dracula X was still fun and its soundtrack was one of the best on the SNES. It sounded even better than the PC Engine one to me it really did.

    Some might be aware I had a huge computer malfunction and now I'm up again and while I was able to save my files and programs, I fear many of them I can't use again. Since I've been meaning to buy Kontakt 4 anyway, I have to wonder if it might help me here. Is there any chance Kontakt will load the old Colossus and Ethno World 3 instruments? At this point I may need to beg some of my work clients for some part-time work (which would actually work out for a number of things going on right now) if I need to buy that shit again, but I'm just weighing my best bets here.

    I try listening for OSTs to games I've never played so I can get an idea what game music sounds like without the game around it. For someone like me who has done tracks for games without seeing anything else around it, its a half-decent frame of reference to go for, at least in my experience.

    You can count me out for a Vegas trip now - any money I would've had for that just got sunk into a major computer failure a couple days ago and pretty much every recovery effort known to man up to this minute. I still want to try for that Nerdapalooza thing though.

    I was at Harrah's in Cherokee just yesterday actually. I don't know if the Vegas one is anything like this one, but its about the cleanest, most milquetoast casino I could conceive of. It's a pretty nice place actually, but its hardly what I think of when I think of casinos.

    All I know is I played FFIV: The After Years and it somehow defied all odds and ended up being EXACTLY the FFIV sequel I waited 17 long years for, so I cannot lose faith in Square. A bad trailer means nothing. A few bad snapshots does not the ruin the album no matter how much of a fanboy you get to be. Wait until it comes out and you get done playing it before you call it a disaster.

    DAMMIT. Am I cursed to spend eternity in this county alone? Why are even the most basic forms of cross-country transportation completely impossible for me to pull off? I'm going to one of these damn summer events come hell or high water.

    I hear ya buddy. I want to be listed as tentative too, because I don't have even the founding elements of any concept how to get to and function in Las Vegas. If I can get a ride and some people to share a room that I pay my share for, awesome. Otherwise I don't know how I would do that.

    Where else would you stay? What kind of hotel are you looking for?

    A summer meet up I'm definitely interested in. It was pretty hard to find someone to get ride to the Northeast, but to the west might be different. I'd definitely be interested in putting up my share if someone wants to split hotel accommodations.
